**Job Description:**
The Commodity Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement strategy for designated computing technology commodities such as **data storage, memory, processing, networking, and related technologies** . This role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the efficient supply of materials at the best possible cost. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
**What You Will Be Doing:**
+ **Procurement Strategy:** Develop and implement strategies for the procurement of designated commodities to meet company objectives.
+ **Market Analysis:** Monitor and analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and pricing fluctuations to make informed procurement decisions.
+ **Supplier Management:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
+ **Cost Optimization:** Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
+ **Inventory Management:** Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
+ **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks related to commodity supply, including developing contingency plans.
+ **Reporting and Analysis** : Preparing regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, cost savings, and market trends; using data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments
+ **Performance Metrics:** Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commodity procurement.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including production, finance, and quality assurance, to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
+ This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific financial-related goals as set forth by Arrow
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commodity purchasing or supply chain management.
+ Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Knowledge of market conditions and trends in relevant commodities.
**Work Arrangement:** _This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and 2 days per week from home._

**Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:**
$84,300.00 - $152,431.62

Job Description
The primary goal of this position is to leverage SAP Business Systems to optimize and enhance business processes across the organization, focusing specifically on areas of logistics, inventory, and warehouse management. This role involves working with high-level business unit executives to identify strategic SAP-enabled opportunities, providing leadership in planning, development, and delivery of effective information systems, and driving the integration of SAP with external systems.
Responsibilities
+ Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Work directly with business unit clients to understand specific processes and drivers related to SAP LE, IM, WM/EWM systems. Identify and communicate resulting needs and opportunities for SAP-enabled business process improvement.
+ Technology Investigation & Strategy Development: Investigate existing SAP capabilities and explore new solutions for logistics, inventory, and warehouse management. Develop integrated information management strategies that align with business goals.
+ Compliance & Evaluation: Ensure all SAP activities comply with corporate and divisional policies. Identify emerging needs and evaluate SAP solutions using best practices.
+ Strategic Business Opportunities: Proactively seek strategic opportunities for SAP application across multiple business areas, providing comprehensive strategic analyses to high-level executives.
+ Information Systems Strategy: Develop, lead, or review SAP information systems strategy to support strategic requirements of multiple business areas, ensuring alignment between business and technology directions.

+ Process Improvement Recommendations: Provide recommendations for process improvement objectives, such as adopting SAP WM/EWM practices, application development, or business process management.
+ Relationship Management: Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other Business Technology Organizations (BTOs) to ensure successful SAP project implementation and support.
+ Communication & Conflict Resolution: Manage relationships between clients and BTOs, fostering effective communication and resolving conflicts. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and issues.
+ Responsibility & Accountability: Have defined authority and responsibility for significant areas of SAP work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects. Establish organizational objectives and delegate assignments.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with 7 years of SAP experience; Master's Degree with 6 years' experience; PhD with 2 years' experience.
+ Proven expertise in SAP LE, IM, WM/EWM, and integration technologies (API, EDI, IDOCs).
+ Ability to strategically analyze and develop solutions for complex SAP-related problems.
+ Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with supply chain management systems is a plus.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
