What you'll do.
Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use and placing orders to replenish supplies are low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $3.00*

- Strong ability to reach schematics, troubleshoot root cause, and implement repairs to restore flow of equipment

- Enthusiastic about learning equipment and learning failure patterns
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting

About the Team
About the Bloomsburg, PA plant.
The Bloomsburg Kawneer plant is located about 10 minutes from Rt. 80 and about 30 minutes from Willkes Barre, PA. This small college town offers a wide selection of small town privately owned businesses with a small town feel. We have a local theater that put on performances throughout the year, county fair grounds, walking and biking paths as well as small parks. We are also close to the Poconos Mountains for hiking and outdoor activities.

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges. Ford Factory training available for the right candidate. Mobile service opportunities available.

- Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
- Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ford Certification is a plus
- PA Safety Inspections license preferred
- PA Emissions license preferred
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude

Job Description
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
+ Conducting Preventative Maintenance - Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and industrial ovens in our bakery. You'll aim for excellence every day, helping us bring the best to families.
+ Ensuring Performance Efficiency - Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and changeovers. You'll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns. We're looking for someone who brings dedication to the table!
+ Following Best Practices - Understand, follow, and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices. You'll help us keep delivering success, one cookie at a time.
We're Looking For Someone With
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Previous experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
+ Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift-up to 50 lbs. and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day.
