Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.

Key Accountabilities

A Typical Work Day May Include:

• Performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility.
• Documenting all completed work and conditions using maintenance software.
• Installing and repairing various industrial systems and equipment, including heavy mobile equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Operating machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Conducting minor maintenance and servicing on relevant equipment.
• Utilizing standard maintenance tools such as power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Reading and comprehending mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Operating forklifts as required.
• Adhering to all safety policies and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Repairing equipment in proximity to explosives.
• Completing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal/written).
• Physical capacity to handle job duties, including lifting up to 50lbs and working in various conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma/GED or two years of relevant experience.
• Able to work underground in a mining environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Current ATF certification or ability to obtain one upon hire.

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Familiarity with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Certification as a Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willingness to pursue certification.
• Training in predictive or precision maintenance.
• Basic skills in cutting, welding, and fabrication.
• Previous mining experience.
