Essential duties of the Maintenance Technician:
* Make repairs to machines as needed with emphasis on hydraulic presses
- Recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or
equipment operating parameters
* Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery and repair of hydraulic and other systems
* Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
* Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department,
or work crew
* Follow all Company policies, including but not limited to all related safety policies.
Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:
- Experience with large hydraulic systems, pump diagnosis, cylinder rebuilds, pump repairs, valve tuning
as well as control functions and troubleshooting

Job Details
Will be responsible for TRAVELING locally to client sites to repair industrial equipment.
- Responsible for installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of automated storage and retrieval systems as well as sawing equipment

Install and repair electronic components of equipment as necessary.
Repair, adjust and replace gauges, valves and other regulating equipment.
Adjust, align and balance equipment as necessary.
Test machines after repair.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices, grinders, welding and soldering equipment.
Inspect, repair and replace motors as necessary for material handling systems, material moving equipment and sawing machinery.
Weld machinery parts.
Fabricate and weld brackets, supports, other necessary devices.
Use programming devices for fault tracking and parameterization of electrical control devices such as PLC’s and operating devices.
Use specialized tools such as databus testing devices and other diagnostic devices as necessary.
Participate in all quality, safety training and job certification requirements for this position.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform any additional duties that may be assigned, such as visiting other customer sites.
Maintain a good attitude and maintain positive customer relations.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED and 1 year technical school, or 4 years on the job training in an industrial maintenance environment.
Must be able to use multi-meter for electrical troubleshooting, power tools for mechanical repairs, programmable logic controller for troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**Education & Experience**
+ AS degree in electronics or equivalent High School education with related training/experience
+ Trade school or field experience working on heavy equipment. Hydraulics, electronics etc.
+ Comfortable around heavy construction equipment.
+ Specific MC installation experience would be ideal.
**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
+ Mechanically inclined. Familiar 12volt and 24 volt power on Heavy equipment. Welding experience, Heavy equipment operation. Familiar with electro mechanical circuitry.
+ Prior experience working on cars and other similar things is helpful. In general the person shall be comfortable around hydraulics, Electronics, Diesel etc.
+ Electronics experience desired.
**Physical Requirements**
Must be physically capable of climbing onto large equipment. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
**Working Conditions**
Willing to travel. 60% of the time installs will be outside in the rain, cold, heat.

Work Environment
This position involves 50% local travel within the Miami area and 50% in-house repairs. Typical work hours are from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on service needs. Work may be conducted indoors or outdoors, depending on the site location. All tools and travel expenses are provided by the company. The role includes double pay on Sundays and time-and-a-half pay on Saturdays. This position will lead directly to becoming a Trainer/Lead in 2026, as the company plans to expand the team next year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.00/hr.
