What you will do:

• Assist in delivering diverse traffic and transportation projects—from traffic impact studies to safety assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Analyze traffic data and evaluate transportation system performance using industry-standard tools.
• Support the preparation of reports, graphics, presentations, and technical memos.
• Help prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work with guidance from senior staff.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Learn and apply modeling, simulation, and analytical software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, TransModeler, ArcGIS Pro, etc.).
• Grow in your knowledge of guidance (MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO Green Book, etc.) and local agency standards.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering or related field. A master’s degree with a focus on Transportation is a plus.

Experience:

• 0–3 years of professional experience, including internships, co-ops, or research.

Skills & Tools:

• Familiarity with Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, or similar tools is helpful.

• Basic programming or data skills (e.g., Python, R, Excel VBA, GIS) are a bonus.

Certifications:

• Engineering (EI/EIT) certification, obtained or in progress .

We are looking for an experienced candidate to add to our equipment manufacturing team to ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly. In this role, youll collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Sales, and Finance, to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication ability.

1. Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts).
2. Develop and implement processes to overcome supply chain challenges.
3. Own all physical inventory and cycle counting activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
4. Adjust, reconcile and manage all inventory including activities such as receiving and shipping.
5. Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
6. Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
7. Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
8. Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
9. Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
10. Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
11. Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
12. Identify inventory and vendor trends to avoid disruptions to manufacturing.
13. Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
14. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
15. Negotiate prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
16. Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
17. Monitor logistics to ensure they run smoothly.
18. Train and guide employees.
19. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
20. Resolve issues that arise (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).
21. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
22. Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
23. Perform other job duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required or equivalent experience required.

5 years of directly related experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment required.
