The Clinical Diet Tech provides nutrition care and support to patients under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in the clinical setting. This position interacts with clinical staff, patients, and family members to collect, analyze, and document patient nutrition information. Molina Healthcare is hiring for several Pharmacy Technicians. These roles are 100% Remote and require you be licensed either State or Nationally.
These positions will be Monday through Friday 10am to 630pm **Mountain Standard Time.**
Molina MTM Pharmacy Services staff work to ensure that Molina members have access to Medicare Star medications and those meds are used in a cost-effective, safe manner. These jobs are responsible for creating, operating, and monitoring Molina Health Plan's pharmacy benefit programs in accordance with all federal and state laws.
Jobs in this family include those involved in formulary management (such as, reviewing drug/provider utilization patterns and pharmacy costs management), clinical pharmacy services (such as, therapeutic drug monitoring, drug regimen review, patient education, and medical staff interaction), and oversight (establishing and measuring performance metrics with regard to patient outcomes, medications safety and medication use policies).
These positions will be Monday through Friday 10am to 630pm **Mountain Standard Time.** Currently there are no weekend nor holiday requirements.
Bilingual in any of the following languages is a plus (not required) Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.
Above average computer proficiency is a MUST!
**Job Duties**
+ Collaborate with Molina pharmacist on medication adherence and provide follow-up on identified adherence barriers.
+ Perform outreach to member, prescriber and/or pharmacy as needed.
+ Participates in the development /administration of programs designed to enhance the utilization of targeted drugs and the identification of cost saving pharmacy practices.
+ Identifies and reports departmental operational issues and resource needs to appropriate management.
+ Assists Molina Member Services, pharmacies, and health plan providers in resolving member prescription claim, prior authorization, or pharmacy services access issues.
+ Articulates Pharmacy Management policies and procedures to pharmacy/health plan providers, other Molina staff and others as needed.
**Job Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION:** High School Diploma or GED equivalent
**PREFERRED EDUCATION:** Associate's Degree
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:** 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:** 3+ years
**REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION:** Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification

Functions**
+ Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions and or in specialized populations.
+ Uses the Nutrition Care Process to facilitate the provision of more complex nutrition care with moderate autonomy and supportive guidance from advanced practice dietitians.
+ Uses advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
+ Uses technology in estimating needs and nutrition goals (ex: indirect calorimetry, nutrient analysis software, glucometers, etc.)
+ Mentors newly graduated dietitians, dietetic interns, and clinical diet techs.
+ Applies research to improve patient outcomes. Implements the latest evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team and in updating care practices/processes within the facility.
+ Manages nutrition care across the continuum including durable medical equipment order writing.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
+ For graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a minimum of a master's degree by an accredited university. Education is verified.
+ Completion of an ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level competency-based dietitian nutritionist program.
+ State licensure or certification in accordance with the primary state of practice requirement for Registered Dietitians. If the primary state of practice requires licensure or certification, this must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
+ Demonstrated ability to apply the Nutrition Care Process in multiple patient populations and/or disease types.
+ Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply evidence-based research to clinical practice.
+ 2 or more years of dietetics experience in a clinical setting, preferred.
+ Experience in managing patients in a specialty area, preferred.
+ Relevant dietetics-related specialty practice credential (CNSC, CSP, CDCES, CSO, CSR, CSOWM, etc.), preferred
**Physical Requirements**
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
+ Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
