Position Summary

The Human Resources Compliance and Technology Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the HR processes and procedures are in compliance with employment laws, governing bodies, and regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA.
This position will also be responsible for HR analytics such as EEO-1 reports, compensation surveys, and reports; conducting internal HR audits and tracers, participating in external audits with county and state contracts, and monitoring internal trainings to ensure all existing and new employees are compliant with timely completion.

Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Human Resources.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and laws.
• Demonstrate ability to interpret and review significant amounts of data.
• Ability to research, comprehend, and communicate regulatory and governing guidelines.
• Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
• Experience and competency utilizing an HRIS is a must; proficient in MS Office Suite, moderately demonstrated experience with Excel.
• Great attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
• Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking, and social distancing.
• Assist and support the Center/Department/Program in meeting standards of High Reliability.

Essential Responsibilities
• Lead and conduct HR internal audits and tracers for The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA. Will also participate in an external contract, and county and state audits.
• Follow-up on action items for performance improvement plans.
• Lead and conduct all internal HR audits and other compliance-related audits.
• Ensure all personnel records are maintained as per employment laws, governing and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and present monthly PowerPoint slides and data for QA/QI.
• Prepare and present HR risk assessment reports to the risk assessment committee.
• Provide guidance to HR Compliance Coordinator.
• Maintains knowledge of employment law laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Prepare and send finalized EEO-1 reports to the appropriate agency.
• Create and monitor HR compliance reports for all organizational mandatory trainings via LMS.
• Back-up processing for voluntary employee terminations.
• Ensure mandatory trainings are updated and completed for new hires and existing employees.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to HR processes and procedures for regulatory and governing body compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

The work environment is characteristic of a medical clinic environment. CRNA must be able to negotiate patient care environments and be able to move self/patients between anesthesia locations. Coordination of both gross and fine muscular movements, equilibrium, and functional use of the senses of touch and vision is required. Intellectual-Conceptual, Integrative and Quantitative Abilities-Abilities include measurement, calculation, reasoning, analysis and synthesis. Problem-solving, the critical skill demanded requires all of these intellectual abilities. CRNA should be able to comprehend 3-dimensional relationships and understand the spatial relationships. Behavioral and Social Attributes -CRNA must possess the emotional health required for full utilization of intellectual abilities, the exercise of good judgment, the prompt completion of responsibilities. CRNA must be able to tolerate physically taxing workloads and to function effectively under stress and able to adapt to changing environments, display flexibility and learn to function in the face of uncertainties inherent in the clinical problems of many patients. Support the management of the corporate assurance and audit calendar by helping coordinate internal and external audit activities.

Purpose

  2. Maintain and update fleet-related databases, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

  4. Assist in managing reporting requirements for off-road (DOORS) and on-road (TRUCRS and Clean Truck Check) fleet assets.
  5. Provide support to the Compliance Manager in guiding business units on maintaining compliance with Air Resources Board (ARB) programs.
  6. Assist in the development and execution of internal compliance processes, controls, and self-audit protocols to identify and mitigate regulatory risks and improve program effectiveness.

About The Team

The Compliance Team is a dynamic and collaborative unit dedicated to ensuring institutional integrity, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence. We work across departments to interpret and apply evolving state, federal, and accreditation requirements, including regulations from the BPPE, ACCJC, the U.S. Department of Education, and other oversight bodies. The team is responsible for managing policy compliance, overseeing regulatory filings and audits, supporting accreditation efforts, and guiding institutional partners through complex compliance landscapes. About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Manager - BPPE to support our regulatory and accreditation compliance efforts. The Compliance Manager BPPE plays a critical role in ensuring institutional compliance with the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) regulations and other state and federal requirements applicable to private postsecondary institutions. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on California-specific education laws, regulatory filings, and operational standards, while supporting cross-functional compliance initiatives across academic and administrative units.

Regulatory Interpretation & Policy Alignment

  • Monitor, interpret, and apply BPPE regulations, updates, and guidance to institutional policies, procedures, and operations.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure institutional adherence to BPPE and other state and federal regulations including Title IX, ADA, Clery Act, and other education laws.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that SPFS disclosures, enrollment agreements, and marketing materials meet BPPE formatting and content requirements.

BPPE Filings & Documentation Management

  • Prepare, submit, and maintain all required BPPE filings, including but not limited to:
    • School Performance Fact Sheets (SPFS)
    • Annual Reports
    • Catalog and Enrollment Agreement compliance
    • Academic program changes and approvals
  • Track and manage filing deadlines, renewal periods, and regulatory correspondence.
Regulatory Engagement & Representation

  • Serve as a liaison with BPPE representatives during formal and informal communications.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and site visits initiated by the BPPE or other regulatory agencies.

Training, Communication & Issue Resolution

  • Provide training and guidance to staff and faculty on California-specific compliance obligations, including updates to policies and new regulations.
  • Partner with the legal and executive leadership to address findings, draft responses, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Policy Development & Review

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and update institutional policies and procedures to meet regulatory changes.
  • Provide recommendations for improving policies to align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support the drafting of compliance-related guidelines, SOPs, and resources.

Records Management

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including regulatory filings, training attendance, and audit results.
  • Assist in responding to compliance-related requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information.

Required

  • Bachelors degree in a related field such as law, business, higher education administration, public policy, or project management.

  • Strong understanding of California Education Code, Title 5 CCR, and private postsecondary regulatory requirements.
  • Experience preparing and submitting SPFS, Annual Reports, and other BPPE-required documents.

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with Title IV financial aid compliance, accreditation standards, and multi-state regulations.
  • Experience conducting training or presenting compliance-related content to internal teams.

Essential Responsibilities
· Lead and conduct HR internal audits and tracers for The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA. Will also participate in an external contract, and county and state audits.
· Follow-up on action items for performance improvement plans.
· Lead and conduct all internal HR audits and other compliance-related audits.
· Ensure all personnel records are maintained as per employment laws, governing and regulatory agencies.
· Prepare and present monthly PowerPoint slides and data for QA/QI.
· Prepare and present HR risk assessment reports to the risk assessment committee.
· Provide guidance to HR Compliance Coordinator.
· Maintains knowledge of employment law laws, regulations, and best practices.
· Prepare and send finalized EEO-1 reports to the appropriate agency.
· Create and monitor HR compliance reports for all organizational mandatory training courses via LMS.
· Back-up processing for voluntary employee terminations.
· Ensure mandatory training courses are updated and completed for new hires and existing employees.
· Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to HR processes and procedures for regulatory and governing body compliance.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum three (3) years of experience in Human Resources. (Healthcare experience is a plus)
· Must have demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and laws.
· Ability to research, comprehend, and communicate regulatory and governing guidelines.
· Proficient in MS Office Suite, moderately demonstrated experience with Excel.
· Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
· Experience with Paycom or Relias is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
