  • Assists pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities. Performs a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

  • Samaritan Pharmacy-Lincoln City is a community pharmacy located next to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. In addition to acute and swing bed rehab, we offer a variety of outpatient services including sports and orthopedic rehab, pediatric rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, wheelchair seating, and neck, back and extremity care. At SNLH, we have a large and well equipped outpatient therapy department located within a 25 bed critical access hospital. • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • The Rehabilitation teams at Samaritan evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions that have caused either a decline in self-care, physical mobility or functional independence. Our acute services are centered out of the Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, a community-based 25-bed critical access hospital. All outpatient services are one-on-one and feature therapist driven treatment times.

• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license required.

  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.

  • Assists management in monitoring the operations and productivity of assigned department(s). Supervises staff, coordinates activities with leadership and provides support for the efficient and effective delivery of quality services. Performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statues as well as Samaritan Health Services policies. Prepares and dispenses medication; assesses clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics). Provides drug information to the medical team. Educates patients.

• DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Samaritan Pharmacy-Lincoln City is a community pharmacy located next to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. The primary role of this pharmacy is to dispense community patient prescriptions. They also offer immunizations, medication management services, and discharge medications to bedside. The pharmacy is staffed by experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are dedicated to patient care.

• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.

  • One (1) of the following required:

    • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice.

    • One (1) year pharmacist experience.

  • Leadership experience preferred.

  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within three (3) months of hire.

  • Successful completion of Pharmacist Immunization Certification required within one (1) year of hire.
