As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting activities with a particular emphasis on cash accounting. You will help ensure accurate recording of cash transactions, timely bank reconciliations, and assist in maintaining the financial integrity of our business operations. You will also be involved in the daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end functions of the accounting department with a focus on all balance sheet and income statement related activity for the individual brands of Solo Brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily cash receipts, disbursements, and transfers across multiple bank accounts
- Reconcile bank statements monthly and investigate discrepancies
- Support cash flow tracking and forecasting efforts
- Assist with payment processing, vendor invoice tracking, and employee expense reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the general ledger
- Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, operations, and ecommerce teams to align financial records
- Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal review and audit purposes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP and FP&A tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners

Accountant General Ledger (65K-75K)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a marketing and advertising firm in the Dallas area to identify an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning efforts, and contributing to overall operational efficiency through general ledger management, reporting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities, including preparation of journal entries and execution of month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and internal reports to support operational decision-making
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes; perform variance analysis to monitor financial performance
- Analyze company spending and offer recommendations to optimize costs and improve financial efficiency
- Track project costs and support client profitability analysis to ensure accurate margin reporting
- Manage fixed asset schedules, including tracking new purchases, disposals, and transfers in coordination with internal departments
- Handle sales tax compliance, including timely filings, reconciliation with the general ledger, and coordination with tax authorities
- Support audit preparation efforts and contribute to maintaining effective financial controls and documentation practices
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a service-based or agency setting
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
