The Role:

As an Accounting Software Trainer , you will deliver training and support to new and existing customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS). You’ll lead virtual sessions via phone and online platforms as well as providing onsite training during new client software installations. Your role is key to ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience.

This position will be based in our Arlington, Texas office and will require regular travel to customer sites across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent working from the office, while the other 50% will involve onsite visits to dealerships as part of the software installation and training team.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop proficiency and stay up to date with PBS Software Expertise
  • Master the process of training new customers on the accounting silo of PBS software
  • Proactively learn new products to expand our PBS knowledge
  • Conduct training sessions for our customers, in the assigned silo and when possible, in other silos as well
  • Perform installation tasks and serve as a reliable installation resource without the need for direct supervision
  • Confidently navigate and discuss the features of our Dealer Management Software to deliver exceptional support and solutions to our customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively identifying client needs and ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
  • Accurately enter and update data into company databases and systems, ensuring completeness and correctness of information
  • Maintain documentation and update it as departmental processes evolve
  • Document tickets, investigate arising issues, and escalate them to the appropriate teams
  • Effectively prioritize and manage tasks independently, demonstrating sound judgment without requiring direction from Team Leads.
  • Promptly respond to both internal and external training requests
  • Share knowledge within your own silo and with others across the DTO (Dealership Training Optimization) team

What You Bring

MUST HAVE Skills:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a dealership environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles
  • Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essential
  • Able to travel within Canada and the U.S. up to 2 weeks per month; valid passport, U.S. visa (if applicable), and full driver’s license required

The Accounting Technology Consultant will be joining a growing Customer Success team to ensure that our newly acquired clients are successfully onboarded onto our SaaS Accounting solution. The Accounting Technology Consultant will be joining a growing Customer Success team to ensure that our newly acquired clients are successfully onboarded onto our SaaS Accounting solution. We are looking for motivated individuals with an accounting background who are ready to transition into a consulting role. Our team consists of former accountants and CPAs who use their knowledge to help accounting teams from various industries improve their close process. If you want to put your education and experience to use in a customer success capacity and work with happy clients by adding value on a daily basis, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Starting in 2026, we plan to expand to 4 days per week, adding Mondays.

What You'll Do:

    • Leading client kick-off calls and giving them an overview of the FloQast implementation process and timeline
    • Reviewing clients' current close documentation and advising them on best practices within the software
    • Organizing the client close checklist into a customized Excel file (known as a "mapping document") that will form the basis for their FloQast account
    • Establishing and maintaining client relationships mainly through phone and email communication
    • Managing client progress and driving status update meetings internally
    • Tracking client adoption and driving the optimization of their FloQast account
    • Maintaining a deep comprehension of the FloQast application and functionality
    • Training domestic and international accounting teams through screenshare on how to use the FloQast software during their month-end close
    • Point person for technical product support and accounting-related questions during implementation
    • Travel will be required up to 15%.

This role will lead the monthly closure of numerous client books with a concentration in the Software/SaaS industry. This position will be a management level role with the expectation that client service is critical. The role will report to the Director of Managed Accounting Service and be supported by a team of accountants at other KBF global offices. Each Controller will manage between 15-25 clients depending on the workload and size of the clients. Responsibilities Comfortable working in a client-facing role, working on business development, as well as relationship building all while ensuring client work is done at a premium level. Clients in Software / SaaS have various revenue streams, including hardware sales, licensing, services and royalties. This role will support and partner with commercial business teams at clients to establish sound business models, proper revenue recognition, transaction posting accuracy, and disclosure processes. A working manager that is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and doing what it takes to get the job done right. Provide solutions to challenges proactively. Seek to understand the clients’ business and use this knowledge to ensure transactions are recorded correctly. Leverage your full cycle accounting experience to streamline accounting processes for our clients. Ability to plan, assign and review work performed by Bookkeepers working on engagements for accuracy as well as provide feedback for improvement. Assist in implementing new tools and software. Own the financial monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and complex accounting items for multiple clients simultaneously. Develop a detailed close plan/schedule for each client and make sure all tasks are completed prior to scheduling a formal review with the Director of Managed Accounting Services. Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work product based on client expectations and deadlines. Collaborate with the Managed Accounting Services and Tax teams regarding technical questions as well as progress of projects, tasks and associated budgets. Review client financial performance on a monthly basis and make recommendations for improvement Assist clients with properly recording transactions associated with revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity and leases to ensure GAAP compliance. Collaborate with team members to make recommendations to clients associated with process improvements and KPIs/Dashboard improvements. Support Mergers & Acquisitions, due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration activities.
