Our client, a dynamic organization in the office administration sector, is seeking a Clerk III/Receptionist to join their team. As a Clerk III/Receptionist, you will be part of the Solicitor's Office supporting various departmental functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Clerk III/Receptionist
**Location:** Florence, SC
**Pay Range: $16**
**Shift:** 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information to callers or forward calls to the appropriate staff.
+ Greet office visitors and perform customer/public service duties as required.
+ Assist department staff by processing records, forms, applications, and official documents.
+ Maintain filing systems and update electronic, microfilm, and paper files.
+ Operate various office equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners.
**What's Needed?**
+ A high school diploma or GED.
+ Three to five years of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proficiency in typing, data entry, and using office software.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.

•Three to five years of administrative experience
Essential Job Responsibilities and Performance Indicators:
•Perform assigned tasks within established deadlines
•Handle internal and external correspondence (e.g., emails, letters, memos)
•Review and update memoranda of understanding (MOU)
•Participate in the revision and editing of program and departmental procedures and protocols
•Track departmental monitoring reports
•Order supplies and maintain an appropriate level of supply inventory
•Prepare for and take minutes at Policy Council and management meetings
•Assist in handling administrative tasks (e.g., managing employee files, processing paperwork, and payroll processes)
•Schedule meetings and conferences
•Schedule background screenings for new hires
•Support recruitment efforts (e.g., creating job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating recruitment efforts)
•Assist in conducting orientation and onboarding for new employees
•Assist in the implementation of the benefits package (e.g., enrolling employees in insurance and sending COBRA notifications)
•Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to pass background checks and health screening; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Must be able to adapt quickly and positively to changing demands, stressful situations, and multiple priorities; Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and lead projects and activities; Excellent critical thinking, organization, and analytical skills are a must.
