**Type & Focus of the Needed Services**
This position is in an office environment where the dress code is business casual. Remote work is not an option. Must be comfortable working on a computer and using MS Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Training will be provided on specialty software and data systems. Must be comfortable working on a computer.
Duties include: Greeting clients as the come into lobby, entering clients into Statewide database, ordering EBT cards, entering client address changes, answering general questions and scanning documents into the ECM.
Training will be provided on specialty software and data systems.
Individual will be giving a 15 Minute morning break, no lunch as this is a part time position.
**Does Work require specialized skills/certifications**
No specialized skills or certifications required. Must have computer experience.
**Additional Requirements**
Training Requirements - Training will begin first day of placement. Training will be provided on specialty software and data systems.
Request Resumes/Certifications/Creds/Proof of Training Contractor must submit candidate resumes upon award
Interview Requirements - Based on acceptable resumes, candidates will be asked to interview.
Background Check - background check is required through Department of Social Services prior to placement.
Overtime - position does not require overtime
Security Clearance/ID Badge Process - With an approved background check, accepted candidate will receive security badge for access to the building.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Answers the phone lines for engineering, processes and files reports, enter purchase orders, assist with Auto CAD mapping, sells permits for contract work, maintains written correspondence.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Education, and Training
- Knowledge of Auto CAD software preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
- Valid Driver License
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
- Use of a multi-line phone system.
- Proficiency with office equipment and computers.
- Computer software applications.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Access strongly preferred.
- Independently plan, prioritize, and organize work efficiently.
- Learn city ordinances, policies, guidelines, and operations.
- May be required to assist with field work.
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the public.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Essential Functions
- Handles phone calls and public requests and issues, guaranteeing politeness, confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism.
- Forwards calls to the appropriate person(s) or takes messages, guaranteeing politeness, accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Provides general information or follow-up action on requests.
- Responds to requests by immediate supervisor in an accurate, professional, complete and timely manner.
- Maintains database for daily reports that are compiled into a monthly report.
- Enters purchase orders for Engineering, Protective Services and Street departments and the Airport.
- Provide overall service for maintaining the Engineering department record center, including but not limited to vital records identification, grant records, permits, and Airport records.
- Prepare correspondence as required.
- Updates Auto CAD Mapping for Electric, Water, Sewer, Gas and Storm Water departments
a. Map Utility additions or changes
b. Updates database for Utilities.
c. Completes back trace after database and drawing modifications ensuring connectivity of the model is maintained.
d. Ability to take field notes and/or sketches and update maps and database.

Physical Requirements
Performs bending and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls up to 30 pounds; able to review plans, on-site layouts, construction progress, etc.; possess ability to utilize computer keyboard and/or mouse.
Working Environment
Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment; may be exposed to extreme weather conditions when conducting on-site field work for various projects; subject to safety hazards from excavation areas, dust and pollen from construction sites, cramped spaces and poor lighting from underground structures, and possible exposure to disease when working around solid waste reduction and disposal and sanitary sewers.
