In this position.
The Advanced Development Technician will support the development and testing of the core mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems for our next generation EV platforms.
What you'll do.
+ Collaborate with engineers to build, modify, instrument, and test mechanical, electrical, thermal components, and systems.
+ Conduct root cause analysis of early characterization and validation component failures.
+ Perform machining and fabrication work in support of prototype and test efforts.
+ Design and build test fixtures and assembly tools.
+ Assemble and debug test equipment hardware and control systems.
+ Execute experiments to support systems, safety, hardware, and software development, collect test data, manage data storage, retention, backup, and access.
+ Maintenance and coordination of repairs for lab equipment and tooling.
+ Complete integration of new parts or systems into test stands and provide feedback on manufacturability.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and inspect components using precision measuring equipment to determine that parts meet required specifications.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with embedded systems over various vehicle communication protocols.
You'll have.
+ 2-year degree in Automotive Tech & Repair or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of experience supporting electric vehicle architecture & integration development.
+ Class C driver's license or ability to attain one.
+ Experience with machining and fabrication.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Experience with lab equipment installation maintenance and calibration.

The Technical Manage r is responsible for owning all technical issues related to the advanced troubleshooting team, including central inverters, DC to DC converters, Power to Gas systems, Communication & Control systems across the US install base. This role ensures timely updates to customers regarding the status of ongoing field issues, collaborates with field service engineers, dispatch, service providers and drives root cause analysis and corrective actions in collaboration with SMA-US Quality and HQ Quality and Technical Support.

The Technical Manager will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, technical support, and resolution of complex equipment issues, ensuring that customer expectations are met, service quality is maintained, and operational excellence is achieved.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership of Advanced Technical Issues:
  • Take full responsibility for all central inverters, DC to DC converters, P2G systems, Communication & Control -related issues across the US install base.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, customers, and service providers to escalate technical issues.
Customer Communication and Issue Updates:
  • Provide regular status updates to customers on the progress of field issues, ensuring transparency and clear communication on next steps and resolution timelines.
  • Manage customer expectations effectively, ensuring all technical challenges are addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Joining all relevant escalation calls
Field Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Support field service engineers by offering technical guidance and expertise on complex field issues.
  • Assist and mentor field service teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely response to field issues and technical support.
  • Regularly scheduled meetings with Field Staff.
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:
  • Collaborate with headquarters (HQ) in Kassel and other engineering teams to establish clear root cause analyses for technical failures or recurrent issues.
  • Ensure swift and accurate corrective actions are identified and implemented to prevent future occurrences.
  • Drive process improvements and feedback loops to continually improve the service and support provided for central inverters, DC to DC converters, P2G systems, Communication & Control equipment.
  • Able to diagnose and provide preliminary RCA responses to customers.
Technical Expertise and Training:
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments related to Large Scale/ Industrial Solutions, and other related equipment.
  • Develop and deliver internal training materials to upskill the field service engineers and team members on handling issues effectively.
Collaboration with HQ:
  • Work closely with the R&D and technical teams at HQ to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and timely problem resolution.
  • Ensure all technical issues are well-documented and feedback is shared with the product and engineering teams to improve future product offerings and service solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience with electrical systems, with a focus on power generation and renewable systems. In-depth knowledge of PV, BESS and P2G, with experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Proven experience in customer communication, especially in high-pressure or complex technical situations.
  • Experience in managing and supporting field service engineers and technical teams.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, R&D, customer service) and external stakeholders (customers, third-party service providers).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify the root cause of technical issues and implement corrective actions efficiently.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical reports, issue logs, and action plans.
  • The ability to work well independently and as a member of a regional/global team is required.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certifications related to electrical standards are preferred.
  • Experience working with third-party equipment suppliers and managing service relationships.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the US to support field teams and customer installations.
  • This position may require periodic domestic and international travel. Occasionally will have to travel to Germany.
  • Familiarity with photovoltaic systems and power inverters is preferred.

PROGRAM AND LOCATION: VOA, a Certified Great Place to Work, is recruiting for an Advanced Cook at our Central Kitchen team in downtown Sacramento, CA. Every day the Central Kitchen staff prepare, package, and deliver more than 1,000 warm, nutritious, made-with-love meals to fragile seniors, veterans, families, and shelter residents. Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advanced Cook is responsible for assuring quality service to all program participants in a compassionate and professional manner as it relates to the specific program objectives. Objectives include preparing meals and serving meals to clients at the designated programs; receive and inventory foods, equipment and janitorial cleaning supplies; assist in training and directing the work of others in the kitchen as assigned. The Advanced Cook will demonstrate supportive interaction with program participants and team members, and perform all work duties as required. Work is performed in a cost effective and service oriented manner as it relates to established organizational standards.

OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES:

A. Responsible for performing daily work requirements to achieve established objectives of the program.

1. Responsible for preparation, cooking, and serving of meals in an institutional kitchen facility.
2. Perform duties in safe and sanitary manner, using food handling and proper preparation techniques.
3. Perform proper safety procedures for all equipment used in a kitchen.
4. Assure security of supplies and all areas of responsibility.
5. Determine amount of food needed to prepare for the planned menu.
6. Prepare food for special diets needs as required.
7. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe.
8. Perform skilled cooking tasks for a variety of foods, using utensils and equipment, such a mixers, food processors, and slicers.
9. Cut and carve all types of meat, fish, and poultry.
10. Bake, roast, broil, and steam a wide variety of meats, fish, poultry, and main dishes; add seasonings to food during mixing or cooking according to recipe requirements.
11. Prepare and cook sauces, soups, and gravies.
12. Bake breads, cakes, and pastries.
13. Direct and participate in the cleaning of dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment, as well as floors and walls of the kitchen, storeroom, and dining area.
14. Inspect the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area.
15. Perform related duties as assigned.

B. Responsible for all areas of daily program maintenance in compliance with company policies.

1. Document and report all variations in food preparations and meal delivery.
2. Complete and maintain all records, logs, safety logs, and incident reports.
3. Monitor inventory of program equipment and supplies and take appropriate action to replace or restock as needed.
4. Secure approval for exceptions to standard policy or procedure.
5. Notify management of potential workflow problems and resource needs necessary to attain performance standards.
6. Adhere to staffing schedules in order to provide adequate/safe staffing coverage and to accomplish program objectives.
7. Communicate with service providers and external representatives as required.
8. Direct available resources as required.

C. Assisting in training and development of new staff.

1. Assist in department orientation and training for new employees as requested to assure quality work outcomes.
2. Identify appropriate ongoing training for both new and existing staff and report needs to Kitchen Manager.
3. Maintain an above average working knowledge of fire, safety, and health standards to assure safe work environment for clients and all personnel.

D. Responsible for self-development

1. Continually learn and enhance technical and interpersonal skills.
2. Attend all staff meetings, assigned training, seminars, and complete required certifications, i.e. CPR, First Aid, etc.

Qualifications

EQUIVALENT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Two or more years of related experience is required. This position requires demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions and to provide services to clients without ethnic or social prejudices. It requires general knowledge of issues and challenges unique to homelessness, substance abuse, young adults, minorities, and persons with disabilities.

Specific knowledge and experience with the following is required:
•Principles, procedures, and equipment involved in the large-scale preparation of food.

We are seeking an **Advanced Technology Market Lead** to join our Atlas team! Come join us!
The Advanced Technology Market Lead will help drive growth and further establish Atlas as a trusted partner in the advanced technology sector, specifically supporting semiconductor and data center projects. This role focuses on business development, strategic account management, key recruitment, external promotion, and internal collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring existing relationships with contractors, EPCs, designers, and owners; possess key insights regarding the growth of the market, and a strategic acumen for positioning the company to gain market share.
**Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Business Development & Strategic Growth: Lead the strategy to grow Atlas' engineering, geotechnical, construction support, design, and environmental services in the advanced technology sector. Identify and pursue new opportunities with EPCs, contractors, owners, and design partners. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value semiconductor and data center projects. Collaborate with internal service line leaders to match capabilities to emerging client needs and industry trends.
+ Client Relationships and Account Management: Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients-especially national EPC firms, hyperscale data center owners, semiconductor manufacturers, and large contractors. Serve as account manager for select strategic clients and work across teams to ensure consistency and responsiveness. Coordinate with other market and regional leaders to manage a portfolio of advanced tech client accounts. Understand and be able to navigate the procurement processes of the client.
+ Hiring Key Recruits: Support the recruitment of specialized talent aligned with the advanced tech sector's requirements. Identify capability gaps and help build high-performance teams to deliver services at the speed and scale required. Assist with onboarding and team-building for advanced tech-focused personnel.
+ External Promotion and Thought Leadership: Represent Atlas at industry events, including technology infrastructure, semiconductor, and data center development conferences. Develop and share insights to position Atlas as a go-to firm in the sector, highlighting our multi-disciplinary strengths. Build brand visibility through speaking engagements, panels, publications, and active participation in relevant organizations.
+ Internal Collaboration & Strategic Support: Serve as a connector across business units-ensuring coordination of pursuit strategies, pricing, resourcing, and client engagement. Support proposal development and capture strategies tailored to the advanced technology market. Provide market intelligence and strategic guidance to executive leadership on trends, risks, and competitive positioning.
**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of progressively responsible sales experience leading the growth of a business unit.
