A high-precision manufacturing company in Northwest Houston is adding an Aerospace Manufacturing Drafter to their growing engineering team. This individual will produce technical drawings and documentation used in the creation of complex aerospace components, ensuring alignment with industry standards and production needs.
This is a full-time role with excellent benefits including a 100% company-paid HMO health plan, partially covered PPO plan, two weeks of vacation, and a 401K plan.
Focus Includes:
+ Creating detailed technical drawings using CAD and 3D modeling software for aerospace-grade parts
+ Collaborating with engineering and production teams to capture specifications and design changes
+ Ensuring drawings meet aerospace compliance and internal documentation standards
+ Interpreting and revising technical drawings and blueprints, including GD&T features
+ Preparing documentation for proposals, reports, and production packages
+ Participating in design reviews and offering drafting-related insight
+ Maintaining up-to-date records of drawing revisions and version control
Top consideration given to candidates with:
+ 2+ years of drafting or CAD experience in a manufacturing environment
