Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis of aerospace structures and components using classical hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) methods.
- Develop and validate detailed FEA models for complex assemblies, incorporating material properties, boundary conditions, and loading scenarios.
- Evaluate design concepts and provide feedback to design engineers to optimize structural performance and weight.
- Prepare comprehensive stress analysis reports, documenting methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions.
- Ensure all designs and analyses comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, military specifications) and internal company procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and test teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews, providing expert stress analysis insights and recommendations.
- Investigate and resolve structural issues during manufacturing, assembly, and in-service operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support flight testing and certification activities by providing necessary stress data and justifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with a focus on structures.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in aerospace stress analysis.
- Proficiency with FEA software packages such as NASTRAN, ABAQUS, or ANSYS.
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials (composites, aluminum alloys, steel), structural mechanics, and fatigue principles.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAR Part 25).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation of analysis tasks is a plus.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Minimum 8 years of Aerospace Embedded Electronic Design (preferably in avionics or satellite design ) which includes at least 4 years of Electrical Systems Engineering with experience in industry standard SE processes pertaining product lifecycle (specs, requirements, architecture, formal reviews, integration, test and deployment).
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace conformance (ie. MIL-PRF-XXX, DO-178/160/254/XXX)

Job Description
The Source Inspector, (SI) is responsible for performing inspection operations of in-process or completed hardware, including dimensional, and visual inspection. The source inspection may include reviewing all paperwork relating to the product at hand. This includes operations such as Final Inspection, Receiving Inspection, Outside processing, and Assembly. The SI will also verify FAI's to AS9102 for accuracy and completeness. The SI must be familiar with hand tools and gaging techniques. The SI will also be fluent in B/P interpretation and GD&T. Source Inspection will occur at end customer's suppliers' location. The SI will travel to these locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
- Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
- Experience with hand measurement tools
- Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
- Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
- Perform final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)
- Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation
- Process warehouse materials
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job

The Source Inspector, (SI) is responsible for performing inspection operations of in-process or completed hardware, including dimensional, and visual inspection. Join us as a Senior Partner Solutions Architect where can use your business and technical acumen to enable the world's leading aerospace & defense companies in building solutions on AWS. As a trusted technical advisor, you'll collaborate with our partners to architect and validate world-class solutions, driving innovation in mission-critical environments. You'll help organizations that count the US population, provide healthcare to millions of Americans, launch vehicles into space, and conduct critical biomedical research. You'll work with teams to deliver proof-of-concept projects, lead workshops, and guide transformative initiatives. You'll also have the chance to collaborate across the entire AWS organization, bringing access to product and service teams in order to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovation based on customer needs. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen and must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and satisfy other security related requirements. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience Active TS/SCI Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs Experience working with end user or developer communities Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $39,000/year in our highest geographic market.
