The ideal candidate's primary focus of this position is to support the finance team in coordinating / administering the monthly financials, as well as supporting costing and inventory management processes at our organization's United States manufacturing facilities.

The primary focus of the Senior Financial Analyst is to support the client's U.S. accounting and finance teams. This individual reports to the U.S. Controller, but will also work very heavily with the Accounting Manager, as well as the North America Finance Operations team. The person will have month-end close and account reconciliation responsibilities, financial reporting responsibilities, and participate in the management of internal controls. Outside of the 1.5 weeks of month-end close each month, this person will be working on financial projects, and be one of the main catalysts in driving better processes in North America. This person will assist the Accounting Manager with month-end close and compliance, and other U.S. Finance leaders in pushing efficiency, reducing redundancy, and improving cross functional communication and collaboration. This person will also be an integral team member in the intercompany activity processes and reconciliations (both domestic and foreign).
The Senior Financial Analyst will interact closely with the other U.S. accounting and finance team members, as well as various other U.S. departments. This individual must have excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written), be a team player, be exceptionally organized, and be able to work across organizational lines to achieve desired results. Sr Financial Analyst - FP&A Commercial Operations
Massillon, Ohio (Hybrid schedule)
Summary
As a member of the corporate financial planning and analysis team, the Sr Financial Analyst - FP&A Commercial Operations will work with the Sales Team, Accounting, Planning and other Teams to provide financial support related to all customers. Key areas of responsibility include reporting/analysis regarding Customer Profitability, Trade Spend and Network Optimization. This position will report to the Senior Manager - FP&A Commercial Operations.
Your Seat at the Table:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize customer potential.
- Provide analysis, reports and support recommendations provided to company management and sales team.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual sales budget.
- Maintain flexible and "can-do" attitude in managing multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Accounting and Planning to improve customer performance and profitability.
- Support special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Assist with managing customer pricing in our ERP system.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years Finance or Accounting experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with internal deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Flexibility to coordinate special projects, anticipate issues and take initiative to resolve them.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
