JOB SUMMARY
Anomatic is a fully integrated cosmetic and personal care packaging supplier. We specialize in design, fabrication, anodizing, metallizing, injection molding, decorating, finishing, and assembly of anodized aluminum and metallized components and product packaging.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information as well as developing analysis to enable the business to make better decisions. This role will partner closely with the Finance team and a broad range of business leaders in Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Sales. This role will design and maintain reporting on key performance indicators, forecasting, and budgeting. They will also assist in strategic projects and work to continuously improve the economics of our business. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis experience, and willingness to learn and grow in the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for delivering weekly/monthly reporting to staff and executive team
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Increases visibility of data, by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to enhance the quality of business decision making
- Work cross-functionally to provide economic perspective on business decisions
- Assist in the budgeting and long-range planning process
- Continuously improve existing business reporting/analysis and strive develop new methods improve efficiency
- Aptitude to learn and develop business reporting tools and systems
- Work with various departments to simplify reporting and KPI's
- Maintain and improve data to make it visual and actionable
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics or related field
- 1 - 3 years experience in analysis or reporting fields, manufacturing a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and basic computer science
- Strong analytical skills. The ability to source relevant data, create clear and concise decision models, interpret analytic results, and provide recommendations and actionable insights.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience in report analysis using business intelligence tools (Power BI, SAP/Business Objects, Domo) a plus
- Strong team player with high aptitude for problem solving
- Good written and verbal communication.

The Senior Financial Analyst position will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of Synergys, Chicago, Illinois operations. The duties will include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Ireland accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting systems, applying principles of cost accounting.
- Plans study and gathers data to determine costs of business activity, such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
- Act as Business Partner for the Site Leadership for Operations, Purchasing, Quality, EH&S as well as Regulatory
- Lead the cycle count program with the initial goal of eliminating annual physical inventories
- Analyze data obtained and document results.
- Manage the compilation of periodic statements of product cost and develop and/or prepare appropriate operating reports.
- Follow up expenditures of appropriations and supervise the assembly of data and comparisons of various budget items.
- Analyze major deviations of costs and margins (e.g., vs. prior month and budget) on a consistent basis.
- Identify Financial Transformation processes (Robotic Process Automation, A/P Automation, Onstream Implementation, etc.)
- Ensure that certain reserve accounts are maintained consistent with Company guidelines. Development and maintenance of standard costs
- Perform monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis.
- Proactively analyze variances and communicate issues and opportunities to operations management.
- Collaborate with local management to prepare quarterly forecast and annual budget package.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting records for all entities. Ensure that at any time all assets are protected, and all liabilities are properly recorded in the financials.
- Strive for continual improvement of all finance processes in order to get timely and more accurate information for Management to direct and support their business activities.
- Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers
- Direct and participate in cost analyses and rate studies.
- Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
- Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
- Review financial statements with management personnel.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance required
- MBA or certifications are a plus
- 5+ years' experience with proven success with similar responsibilities in a global manufacturing company.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead process improvements across different departments
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems (D365, SAP, OneStream, Hyperion, Excel, etc.).
- Strong understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated background managing an environment that requires a high sense of urgency, strong results orientation, tight time frames, budgeting experience and solid understanding of practices and procedures in an international environment
- Displays high degree of time management with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects within tight timeframes and to produce high quality work under very demanding circumstances
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Flexible able to plan for contingencies and know when to invoke them.
- Strong organizational skills. High level of personal discipline.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal savvy with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including technical teams.
Salary range: 92,648.92 - 138,973.39

Responsibilities
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Financial Analyst of Revenue Management will support the optimization of key Revenue Management processes and plans, working closely with field sales, product sales, and marketing teams. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial oversight to ensure delivery of overall net price objectives across key categories and customers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure pricing compliance and data integrity by managing back-end trade governance, including system entry and maintenance
- Provide daily support to sales teams to ensure accuracy of trade spend entry
- Own weekly and monthly reporting, scorecards, and performance analyses, ensure timely and accurate updates
- Conduct post-promotion audits to assess trade spend ROI and effectiveness; make recommendations to course correct margin dilutive events
- Stand up AI driven analysis by contributing to business rule development & ensuring accuracy of data inputs; derive insights from output to drive meaningful change to promotional cadence
- Assist in pricing strategy for new products, pack sizes, and channel entries
- Analyze category trends and competitor activity using syndicated data to generate margin-improving insights; support ad hoc cross-functional requests
- Facilitate the review and approval of price investment requests to ensure compliance with trade spend guidelines and appropriate levels of ROI
- Provide daily support to sales teams and partner with trade marketing teams on various projects
- Bachelor's Degree required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
- 1-3 years Finance experience
- Experience/Background in Data Science or Business Analytics strongly preferred
- Comfortable with large data sets & statistics, including but not limited to correlation analysis (single and multi-variable regression)
- Familiarity with integrating large data sets across multiple platforms; must have strong data governance
- High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications (i.e. IRI, Tableau, Oracle Demantra)
- Demonstrated analytical skills including ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw conclusions, and present recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various levels of the organization
