We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with experience in the manufacturing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize their analytical expertise to evaluate financial data, create reports, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis, as well as strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and industry-specific trends.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making in manufacturing operations.
+ Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasting models and perform variance analyses to identify trends and budget deviations.
+ Support cost analysis and control initiatives, including product costing, raw materials monitoring, and manufacturing overhead assessments.
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission to management and stakeholders.
+ Evaluate ERP systems' financial modules to ensure proper functionality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and sales, to align financial goals with company objectives.
+ Assist with compliance reporting and ensure adherence to industry regulations and accounting standards.
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations toward improving operational efficiency within manufacturing processes.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
+ Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
+ Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP software
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex financial data quickly and accurately.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights.
+ Knowledge of compliance regulations specific to the manufacturing industry and familiarity with cost accounting principles.

**Qualifications**
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline;

Experience with data analytics tools, methodologies and dashboarding / visualization applications, PowerBI a plus Smartview, Essbase experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of financial valuation and modelling techniques
Technology acumen a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple deliverables, excellent time management & prioritization
Dynamic communication and team building skills
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
Strong ambition and an ability to deal with ambiguity while working towards results
Proven track record of standing alone and not shying away from difficult or unpopular positions

OVERVIEW:

The Senior Financial Analyst - Field Support is responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support in the areas of quarterly sales planning, store bonus and support for the Profit Protection team as they identify and address various opportunities to help prevent profit erosion.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the store bonus process, which includes forecasting, accruing, budgeting and managing the exception process. This role will also be heavily involved in the rollout and ongoing administration of the quarterly sales planning effort.

Additionally, this role will provide project analytic support, monthly and ad hoc reporting and be one of the primary liaisons with the Profit Protection Group. The position works across the Finance team, as well as various business partners so the ability to collaborate effectively is essential.

The position requires strong research, problem solving and conceptual thinking, and oral and written communication skills. The workload shifts frequently across job duties. Therefore, flexibility, perseverance, and comfort with ambiguity are requirements for success in this role.

Profit Protection Team Support and Analysis

  • Partner with the Profit Protection team as one of the primary finance liaisons to identify and address areas of opportunities/risks to individual and collective store profit
  • Provide various reporting and analytics based on opportunities identified
  • Partner with outside teams such as Supply Chain, Accounting, etc to implement necessary changes
  • Work with Loss Prevention to provide monthly updates and progress on initiatives
  • Assist in proactively identifying and forecasting risks to the P&L
  • Participate in test and learn opportunities for identified solutions; provide assistance with ROI and other investment impact calculations
Store Bonus Oversight
  • Responsible for forecasting both quarterly sales, annual contribution, and other store bonus programs based on sales and contribution trending
  • Maintain store bonus model and provide bonus accruals at quarter/year end, including partnering with accounting
  • Manage, calculate, and communicate results related to the quarterly and annual store bonus exception process
  • Create the annual store bonus budget based on bonus changes and store counts
Quarterly Sales Planning and Annual Sales budgeting
  • Assist manager and RFMs in developing annual and quarterly sales budgets, including impacts and drivers
  • Administer and help manage changes to store sales and contribution as we evolve new ways of working, particularly through the developing quarterly sales budgeting process
  • Other Ad Hoc analysis and reporting as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business field
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • 1- 3 years of specific experience supporting: expense planning, capital planning, forecasting, investment analysis

Job Title: GIS Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to support various projects in the greater Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in geospatial analysis and be responsible for multiple data processing tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Import construction as-built geometry.
+ Provide shapefiles to assist in surveys.
+ Create exhibits for construction projects, grant applications, and design reports.
+ Process stormwater and sanitary sewer data.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS version 10.x products (Basic, Standard, Advanced).
+ Knowledge of geodatabase creation and data management using ArcCatalog.
+ Experience in developing and automating processes through model builder and Python scripts.
+ Understanding of ArcGISPro 2.x and integration with ArcGIS Online.
+ Knowledge of ArcGIS Online platform and Survey 123.
+ Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data, including international business data.
+ Strong independent work capability and team collaboration skills.
+ Proactive communication, both verbal and written.
+ Desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining scheduled tasks, troubleshooting issues, and developing solutions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in managing and completing post-processing of GPS data.
+ Field data collection experience using Trimble GPS units.
+ Programming and scripting skills (Python, Shell, VB, JavaScript).
+ Familiarity with ArcGIS Server.
+ Experience with ESRI's SDE, SQL Server, and other relational databases.
+ Proficiency in creating spreadsheets in Excel.
+ Experience with Microsoft Access.
Work Environment
This role involves office work with a hybrid schedule, allowing one day per week at home. You will be working in cubicles, providing a structured and focused environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
