The **Senior Financial Analyst** will serve as a key financial partner supporting distribution operations. This role provides comprehensive general ledger (GL) and costing support, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager and Director of Finance to deliver critical insights that inform both operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, expertise in inventory and freight cost management, and a solid understanding of SOX compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the preparation, management, and tracking of the department operating budget; collaborate with operational leaders to align financial plans with business objectives.
+ Drive the forecasting process, including regular updates, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting; ensure forecasting accuracy and accountability.
+ Analyze financial data to support the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
+ Prepare and maintain standard cost structures for labor, overhead, and materials; ensure costs reflect current business operations.
+ Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations, cycle counts, reserve assessments, and inventory valuation accuracy.
+ Monitor and evaluate inbound and outbound freight costs; ensure accurate accounting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
+ Ensure SOX compliance through documentation, maintenance, and testing of internal financial controls related to reporting, inventory, procurement, and capital expenditures.
+ Partner cross-functionally to identify and drive cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiencies across supply chain and distribution functions.
+ Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and detailed financial variance analysis.
+ Manage capital expenditure processes, including budget tracking, forecasting, and actual spend reporting; support project stakeholders with financial oversight.
+ Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on high-risk areas such as inventory, freight accruals, and capital assets.
+ Track production volumes versus plan and forecast; provide variance insights to operational teams.
+ Compile and analyze documentation to support GL account balances; ensuring financial accuracy and audit readiness.
+ Develop and deliver financial, operational, and KPI reports to internal stakeholders.
+ Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including preparing schedules and fulfilling audit requests.
+ Document and streamline financial processes in alignment with best practices, internal control standards and audit readiness requirements.
+ Review and approve capital expenditure requests (CERs) and purchase requisitions for policy and budget compliance.
+ Support special projects and ad hoc analyses in response to evolving business needs.
**Qualifications:**
+ BS in Accounting or Finance.
+ 5 or more years of experience in finance, cost accounting highly preferred, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
+ Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Peoplesoft or SAP preferred.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage work independently.
+ Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
This role will be based in Rochester, NY, with occasional travel required to other company locations as business needs dictate.

The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst is a critical role in the Monthly/Quarterly Accounting/reporting close process throughout Belvac worldwide and with the full-cycle forecasting development. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, processing, consolidation, and analysis of Belvacs monthly financial results. Work closely with various personnel in reviewing the results. Help define the expectations and reporting/analytical requirements.
- Assist in preparing the various reports as required by the Business, including capital projects, cost savings, financial metrics, monthly presentations, etc.
- Participate in the ongoing user enhancement and process optimization of the IFS software company wide and own the Business Intelligence Application for the Finance group.
- Proactively support all functional areas and corporate personnel regarding operational issues, inventory management, asset management and business profitability.
- Participate in developing the annual budget and strategic plan.
- Participate in the preparation, coordination and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial projections.
- Maintains Dovers DRS financial reporting system interface.
- Ensures the local ERP financial results are properly reported into corporate.
- Assist in reporting monthly and quarterly financial information in DRS and DPLAN, including financial bridge construction.
- Backup the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager with Monthly Reporting Requirements.

YOUR ROLE
This position will serve within the Document Generation Print Center of Excellence as an Business Systems Analyst for the Enterprise Document Generation Team. This role involves taking ownership of print documentation application requirements and providing service and operational print generation guidance across the enterprise.
What you will be doing
- Help maintain standard practices for print/document generation development, testing and supporting run the shop efforts to ensure consistency and efficiency across the Doc Gen enterprise.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership, including code and business requirement reviews, SOP documentation support, and meeting clear security controls.
- Collaborate across business and IT teams to define technical requirements and architectural design input to support document print migration efforts.
- Assist in release schedule coordinations as needed across Agile and Kanban teams
- Support elicitation, analysis and design efforts in support of print application and print business requirements.
- Design within the architectural and system strategy constraints
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Work closely with internal business partners to resolve problems and escalate issues to leadership when necessary
- Document print application architectures and procedures ensuring that they meet all applicable compliance requirements.
- Building requirements, testing, debuging, documenting, and helping to ensure print enhancements and project implementations related to and supporting print software applications.
- Ensures that print application improvements and run the shop applications are successfully maintained and implemented.
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
- Experienced as Application Development or Business Analyst for 5/7+yrs
- Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- May manage small teams and/or complex projects; may utilize significant internal or external resources to accomplish goals
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Document Generation and customer correspondence tools, such as OpenText or other workflow/coorepsondanc experience.
- Familiarity with Project management, Service ticketing tools, and code management tools, preferably Git based solutions
The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $ 91,800 up to the maximum of $181,200. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
