Position Summary
This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial health and growth of our brand. This position is responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and conducting detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, data-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Forecasting & Budgeting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans
- Collaborate with department leads (Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to gather and validate assumptions
- Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards and monthly reporting packages
- Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and multiple forecast scenarios
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership to improve profitability, pricing, and cost efficiency
- Business Partnering
- Support cross-functional initiatives with financial insights
- Manage and maintain product margin analysis reporting inventory planning and channel performance metrics
- Scenario Modeling & Strategic Support
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess business risks and opportunities
- Support strategic projects such as new product launches, retail expansion, or digital marketing investments
- Conduct and manage ROI, IRR, and NPV processes
- Data & Systems Management
- Maintain financial models and support the enhancement of planning tools
- Partner with IT/BI teams to streamline data flows and improve reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 24 years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with ERP and BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Experience in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
