Broadly stated, the Business Analyst - Polystyrene (PS) is responsible for providing the PS Business with expert analysis and insights to assist in the development of both short- and long-term business strategies needed to achieve its goals.
To achieve this objective, the Business Analyst will work closely with (and report directly to) the Product Director - PS as well as working with the PS Sales Directors to support their efforts in a wide range of initiatives, from margin and pricing analysis to understanding and describing the landscape for competitive products and alternative materials as well as import arbitrage and cost curves for regional scenarios.

Job Summary
The Analyst is responsible to perform research, data analysis and modeling about Entergy's (ETR) electric utility load, industries and customers, and commercial and business environment, which may have key implications for ETR's long-term growth. As the Trade Compliance Analyst, reporting directly to the Global Compliance Director, you will play a key role in supporting our global trade compliance program focusing on import/export regulations and operations. You will interact with internal and external partners and will work both independently, and with members of Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain on a variety of import/export compliance related activities to minimize associated risk to the company while supporting business growth goals.
We are ideally looking for someone in the Greater Houston area for this hybrid working position, with HQ in The Woodlands and manufacturing in Pearland. Some travel will be required up to 10% of the time to other sites around the country.

- Review and make determinations related to restricted party screening matches in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Provide support to brokers pertaining to classification, valuation, country of origin, and other communication related to customs clearance
- Prepare or assist with export license applications, including deemed export license applications
- Support functional departments in assigning and marking product with country of origin
- Provide support in the development, update, and implementation of written procedures and systems (an Import/Export Procedures and Policies Manual) to ensure imports and exports comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide support to functional areas, departments, and key stakeholders with import and export operations, including reviewing customs entry filings and HTS/ECCN classification as required and export shipments for clearance of any red flags

Job Description Provide Level 4 support consistent with Network data and voice support models.
Maintain a working knowledge of: o Network data (Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, WAN/LAN protocols)
Voice technologies (Legacy PBX, Cisco, MS Lync)
Network Services Internal Processes.
Maintain operations reliability
Plan network changes
Resolve network problems
Participate in review meetings as required to support network implementation activities
Provide recovery and restoration of the network in event of a disaster or major incident
Security and Controls
Comply and contribute to completing Security and Controls process regarding Network data and voice technologies
Require CCNP certificate or equivalent
Data/Voice certification e.g. CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Cisco Voice
General network (data and voice) knowledge
General network knowledge (Cisco/Juniper):
LAN and WAN network equipment and environments, analysis, routing, and switching
OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Network management and protocol analysis
VSAT, Wide Area VLAN, MAN, MPLS/IPVPN technology , QoS features, Wireless LAN technology
Voice knowledge; IPT, VoIP technology, Cisco VoIP
Good written and oral communication skills; ability to discuss technical issues with all levels of personnel globally
