**Job Summary:**
The IFS ERP Financial Analyst will be responsible for working with the finance and accounting teams in the Teledyne Marine Businesses to help optimize/automate their business processes and environment. This position will be a mixture of project initiatives and support.
Responsibilities include analyzing business processes and driving improvements within the Teledyne Marine business unit through collaboration with the IFS Core Team and key business system users. Scope is focused on IFS functionality, testing modifications, testing system patches, implementing system changes, training users on IFS functionality, and troubleshooting issues within the IFS ERP system in a cross-functional team environment.
Areas of concentration for this position are financial (AP, AR, GL, and Projects), but functional knowledge of other areas would be a plus.

**Job Description**
As a Financial Analyst, Senior supporting the Alabama Supercomputer Authority, you will be trusted to work on a variety of financial and business processes on the Alabama Supercomputer Program. You will be performing a vital role in support of the largest research and education network in the state of Alabama. In this role, a typical day will include:
+ Serve as the E-rate lead, which includes high involvement in all E-rate processes to help ensure that all related deliverables are met and on time. Must also assist in ensuring E-rate audit readiness tasks.
+ Assist in all large-scale proposals, such as contract re-compete proposals.
+ Manage and track all telco billing, payments, orders, disconnect, etc.
+ Assist in identifying, communicating, testing, and tracking of requirements for the ongoing buildout of a web application used both internally as well as shared with the customer.
+ Assist with the financial forecast on a monthly basis.
+ Work closely and frequently with customer, often on sensitive matters.
+ Ad-hoc projects as they arise.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
+ BA/BS in Business Administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of work with 5+ years experience
+ 3+ years of in-depth experience as a Service Provider in the FCC's Schools and Libraries E-rate Program
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail

The likely salary range for this position is $72,509 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**Your key responsibilities**
As a Financial Planner Line (FPL) Staff, you will acquire the knowledge and expertise of specific benefit and retirement plans for existing and new client engagements. You'll conduct and/or participate in Financial Planning Line training (including engagement-specific training), assist with new client engagements, facilitate Financial Planning Line's communications, and provide ample assistance to team members by sharing knowledge to develop and enhance service delivery. **Skills and attributes for success**
+ Demonstrate basic understanding of complex financial planning concepts, company-provided benefit plans (including stock option and income tax matters), and effectively convey this knowledge to various clients
+ Provide comprehensive financial counseling (primarily over the phone) and build lasting client relationships
+ Prepare and review comprehensive financial planning analyses for client's financial state and determine guidance
+ Interact with HR benefit professionals through individual and company client meetings within a team environment to deliver quality integrated advisory services to clients while owning accounts and responsibilities
+ Assist in Financial Planning Line new business presentations, creating or testing new tools, leverage technology to continually maximize productivity
**To qualify for the role you must have**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required in a related field, supported by tax or financial planning experience
+ Valid CFP, CFA, CPA or active state bar membership preferred
+ Series 65 (or the ability to obtain within a reasonably mandated period of time)
+ Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal; problem-solving ability and attention to detail
+ Commitment to learning in a tax technology environment and proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office
