The Senior Visual Merchandiser will oversee the development and execution of all visual merchandising strategies across multiple store locations. You will manage the inventory and allocation of visual merchandising props, fixtures, and signage, ensuring timely delivery and effective use. This role requires close collaboration with store management, marketing teams, and buyers to ensure cohesive brand messaging and product placement. Conducting regular store visits to assess visual standards, provide feedback, and implement necessary adjustments is a core part of the job. You will also be responsible for training and guiding junior visual merchandising staff and store teams on visual standards and best practices. Analyzing sales data and customer feedback to inform merchandising decisions and optimize product displays will be crucial.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Design, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in visual merchandising within the retail sector, preferably in apparel or fashion, is mandatory. Proven experience in creating impactful visual displays and managing large-scale visual merchandising projects is essential. Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, color theory, and spatial design principles is required. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with various teams and influence stakeholders. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is highly desirable. The ability to travel occasionally to different store locations is expected.
