**About the Role:**
Understand and manage control databases, user interfaces and setup of control systems based on project specification and/or sale proposal. Perform field startup and system commissioning tasks. Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, understanding panel layouts, termination details and project specifications or sales proposal under supervision of a Senior or Lead Application Engineer.
Programming of control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols.

What's Needed?

4+ years of experience in Linux and application management functions.

2+ years of experience with ETL, Autosys, Python, Perl, and Shell Scripting.

2+ years of experience with authentication tools and compliance initiatives.

Familiarity with F5 LTM, VM Ware, SAN, NAS, Puppet, Data Guard, and Splunk.

Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Application Support Engineer at our location in Charlotte, NC.
Technical Knowledge
- Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of MTU and power equipment as necessary to fully understand total power solution provided.
- Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
- Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.
- Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.
- Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.
- Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.
- Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.
- Project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.
- Salesforce lead to coordinate quality up to date opportunity data.
- Weekly coordination with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.
- Understand and respond to customer's sense of urgency evidenced by consistent and timely communication.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).
- Additional Responsibilities may be assigned by management.
- Knowledge of the power industry and 3-phase power.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively.
- High level of productivity output.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.
- Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment
- Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.
