The Position

Lead & manage the contractor & vendor selection process & maintain list of qualified vendors. Ensure the acquisition of high-quality goods/services at the best possible prices by negotiating & monitoring contracts with selected suppliers. Manage continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficient & effective sourcing practices that will realize increased investment efficiency of monies spent & ensure fair value & service accountability.

Essential Functions
  • Ensure contract coverage for key services & goods as well as storage of contracts in the proper systems
  • Maintain list of qualified contractors
  • Monitor & track expiration of contracts
  • Benchmark operational costs to industry standards regarding RFQ process
  • Communicate to Line of Business (LoB) approved suppliers for key services & goods
  • Conduct spend analysis to support & justify sourcing direction & related activities
  • Develop supplier selection criteria & facilitate LoB through sourcing processes
  • Manage & monitor organizational compliance with all established supplier agreements
  • Serve as key sourcing liaison with Corporate Sourcing colleagues & manage the tracking/reporting of key departmental metrics
  • Establish, direct & lead cross-functional teams in various sourcing categories to identify, select, negotiate, establish & source preferred supplier contracts, agreements, leases, supplies & services
  • Identify, pursue, & maximize opportunities for realizing cost saving without sacrificing the quality, service & reliability expected of our suppliers
  • Partner with LoB to demonstrate how Purchasing can help support overall business strategies
  • Support the novoDSI Supplier Diversity program & promote the inclusion of diverse suppliers in all sourcing initiatives
  • Resolve issues relating to receipts of order discrepancies regarding contracts
  • Manage suppliers to achieve planned outcomes based on business needs & drive on-going improvement in supplier performance

Physical Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply chain or a relevant field of study from an accredited university required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field required
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, processes & purchasing practices preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as good presentation skills required

The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining and advising new projects on the Building Management System while collaborating with the Engineering team to provide necessary documentation, quality system interaction, and performing a variety of highly diverse and complex activities requiring sound planning, organization, judgement, adaptability, and accountability.

  • Entry-level programming in PPLC to upgrade graphics and controls for the BMS System and Install PXCM Controllers with supervision and conduct testing

  • Core roles include communication, compliance, risk management, and use of current technology

  • System Design and Specification

  • Contribute to design and specify BMS systems to control HVAC and other Critical Systems

  • Contribute to select appropriate control strategies and equipment based on the building's requirements

  • Installation and Commissioning

  • Work with PM to support the installation of BMS hardware and software

  • Work with PM to support the commission the system, ensuring all devices and systems are correctly connected and functional

  • Work with PM to conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper operation

  • Programming and Configuration

  • Assist with contractors to develop control algorithms and logic for building systems

  • Assist with contractors to configure controllers, sensors, and other devices as per design specifications

    The Position
    Serve as key member of logistics, with a focus in importing, exporting & shipping. Drive stakeholder management through process improvements, data analytics and assuring timely customs clearances.     The Position
    This position is responsible for maintaining and advising new projects on the Building Management System while collaborating with the Engineering team to provide necessary documentation, quality system interaction, and performing a variety of highly diverse and complex activities requiring sound planning, organization, judgement, adaptability, and accountability.
    This is an onsite role Monday-Friday based at our West Lebanon, NH bioproduction facility.

    Essential Functions
    + Entry-level programming in PPLC to upgrade graphics and controls for the BMS System and Install PXCM Controllers with supervision and conduct testing
    + Core roles include communication, compliance, risk management, and use of current technology
    + System Design and Specification
    + Contribute to design and specify BMS systems to control HVAC and other Critical Systems
    + Contribute to select appropriate control strategies and equipment based on the building's requirements
    + Installation and Commissioning
    + Work with PM to support the installation of BMS hardware and software
    + Work with PM to support the commission the system, ensuring all devices and systems are correctly connected and functional
    + Work with PM to conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper operation
    + Programming and Configuration
    + Assist with contractors to develop control algorithms and logic for building systems
    + Assist with contractors to configure controllers, sensors, and other devices as per design specifications
    + Assist with contractors to integrate various building systems into the BMS to enable centralized control and monitoring
    + Maintenance and Troubleshooting
    + Perform routine maintenance and updates on BMS hardware and software according to SOP's
    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BMS operations under the guidance of SME or suppliers
    + Ensure minimum downtime and optimal performance of building systems
    + At the direction of the functional area manager (FAM), develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics
    + Researches a wide variety of information requests and gathers and compiles reports on BMS data
    + Supports Deviations (DV) and Change requests (CR) related to engineering data
    + Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and non-business hours, to provide support for critical BMS, EMS systems
    + Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable SOPs, corporate standards, cGMP's, local, state and federal laws/regulations
    + Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and Code of Conduct values in all activities and interactions

    Qualifications
    + Education and Certifications
    + High School diploma or equivalent required
    + Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field preferred
    + Work Experience
    + High School diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of work-related experience within a building management system, manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance department as BMS operator, and/or administrative support required
    + Bachelor's Degree with one (1) years of work-related experience within a building management system, manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance department as BMS operator and/or administrative support preferred
    + Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or other regulatory industries experience preferred

    **Position Summary:**
    The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients."
    The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients. To meet the HCPs expectations, the TAS engages them with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue on and consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
    The role builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups practices, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum as their primary point of contact.
    The TAS liaises with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience (Cx) - by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role will prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while also focusing on overall business results and performance objectives while exemplifying BMS values."
    The TAS role is field based. A TAS is anticipated to spend 100% of their time in the field with external customers.

    Portfolio Promotion
