Key Responsibilities
Resident Care & Assessments

Medication Management

Qualifications
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living, memory care, or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for elderly care, particularly for residents with Dementia.
  • Expertise in medication and narcotics management within assisted living and memory care.

We offer 133 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care. We boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
We are looking for a **Resident Assistant** whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living/memory care residents' physical and emotional well-being for our busy senior living in Champlin, MN. Ebenezer provides medication passing training upon hire for this role.
This part-time weekend caregiver/home health aide schedule includes;
+ 72 hours per two weeks
+ day shift
+ every other weekend (saturday/sunday) rotation and rotating holiday
**Responsibilities:**
+ Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
+ May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
+ Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
+ Assists with onboarding of new staff
**Required Skills:**
+ Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
+ Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
+ CNA certificated if under 18
**Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:**
+ High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course

This caregiver schedule includes;
+ casual / on call
+ minimum of 3 shifts per month
+ 1 weekend per month
+ 1 holiday per year
