Job Responsibilities- Providing excellent nursing care to post-acute residents in areas nearby
- Supporting residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs) like eating, personal hygiene, and grooming
- Protecting resident health and safety by supporting a clean, sanitary, and hazard-free environment
- Assisting with the transportation and movement of residents around the facility, as needed
- Documenting and reporting resident vital signs and updating the nursing team on the physical and mental conditions of residents
- Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable policies, rules, and regulations
- Engaging with residents in ways that build relationships based on a sense of security and trust
- Communicating between, and among, staff, residents, and family members in ways that support transparency and the comfort of residents
- Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and social skills

**Required Qualifications:**
+ M.D. or D.O.
+ Must be transitioning into final year of residency or fellowship, or early into final year -PGY2 Resident Physician transitioning into PGY3 Resident Physician (Best Timing)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Preferred candidate will be a local physician resident in Connecticut
+ Would prefer candidates who plan to practice primary care in Connecticut
**Connecticut Residents Only** : The salary range for this role is $33,280 to $41,700 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
