**Compensation for this position**

Position Purpose
The Enterprise Application Software Engineer will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and be responsible for integrating critical enterprise applications at CBNK with external vendor applications. Position Responsibilities
- Be the point of contact and SME for critical business applications as assigned; interface with business stakeholders and IT teams to define, gather, and document business needs and translate into functional specifications for implementation
- Ensure system integrity when implementing changes by evaluating and testing thoroughly for any upstream-downstream as well as system integration impact
- Evaluate, plan, conduct, and coordinate testing and implementation work efforts for releases/upgrades and hot fixes
- Identify and quantify the business impact of possible solutions and make appropriate recommendations to the business area supported
- Communicate with and monitor performance of vendors on issues, improvements, service level agreements, and product roadmaps; utilize focus & advisory groups, vendor client sites, and training events to stay up to date with latest developments
- Establish test procedures and scenarios for end-to-end testing, deployment checklists, technical specifications, and user documentation for UAT and rollout phases
- Roll-out application changes and updates by thoroughly performing testing (e.g., regression testing, integration testing, etc.), and guiding business units through user acceptance testing (UAT) and training

Position Purpose The Enterprise Application Software Engineer will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and be responsible for integrating critical enterprise applications at CBNK with external vendor applications. This position will work in areas of application integration requirements gathering, solutioning the best integration approach, developing the integration, release planning & deployment, change management, testing and documenting. Position Responsibilities
- Be the point of contact and SME for critical business applications as assigned; interface with business stakeholders and IT teams to define, gather, and document business needs and translate into functional specifications for implementation
- Ensure system integrity when implementing changes by evaluating and testing thoroughly for any upstream-downstream as well as system integration impact
- Evaluate, plan, conduct, and coordinate testing and implementation work efforts for releases/upgrades and hot fixes
- Identify and quantify the business impact of possible solutions and make appropriate recommendations to the business area supported
- Communicate with and monitor performance of vendors on issues, improvements, service level agreements, and product roadmaps; utilize focus & advisory groups, vendor client sites, and training events to stay up to date with latest developments
- Establish test procedures and scenarios for end-to-end testing, deployment checklists, technical specifications, and user documentation for UAT and rollout phases
- Roll-out application changes and updates by thoroughly performing testing (e.g., regression testing, integration testing, etc.), and guiding business units through user acceptance testing (UAT) and training
- Participate in project planning and communicate identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager and provide inputs to the change control process
- Abide by the banking compliance and legal standards and assure all work conforms to the current policies & procedures defined and utilized by the bank
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years as a software engineer with tech system integration experience, preferably in the financial services sector
- Expert knowledge of cloud platforms with expertise in Azure environment
- Expert knowledge of API platforms, SFTP solutions, Messaging capabilities
- Ability to design the best solutions when integrating the legacy and older platforms to the latest ones
- Organized Agile mindset
- Ability to solve problems and deal with situations by exercising flexibility, good judgement, and critical thinking skills in fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Open to 100% remote candidates.
- Base Salary Range: $20,000 - 155,000 annually. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
