Job Description: As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the compilation of overall project budgets, utilizing estimate input from a variety of sources. Use Cost, Schedule, WBS, etc., to ensure budgets fully address all scope requirements. Ensure contingency and uncertainty is properly assessed within budgets. Monitor contingency drawdown. Gather key cost data such as exposure, commitment, expenditure, potential changes, approved changes and provide cost coding for all key financial transactions. Monitor & report project cash-flow. Control commitments against funding allocations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the monthly closing and preparation of an executive summary to be submitted to the Project Team
- Preparation of the forecast including revenue, cost, and cash-flow projections
- Preparation and analysis of the following reports to ensure they accurately reflect the current project status: monthly cost report, weekly reports, LDR, payroll, labor report, summary report, and weekly quantities
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes
- Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure financial success
- Preparation of weekly cost trend charts
- Preparation of subcontractor payment requisitions and monthly reporting to project owner
- Preparation of payment report to be submitted to the owner at the end of each month
- Supervision of subcontractors and service agreements, purchase orders and change orders, contract modifications, and estimation of billing-payments and cost impact to the project
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project budgets and track expenditures against approved budgets
- Provide regular cost forecasts based on project progress and potential variations
- Utilize cost data and historical project information to enhance accuracy in future cost estimates
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with a financial background or education
- 2-3 years experience in cost control/engineering in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and principles
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as cost estimating software, Excel, and project management tools
- Proven ability to follow through with completion
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- MS Office Suite

Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accurate and timely reporting of the company's financial results and assist with both internal and external financial reporting. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports summarizing and forecasting company business activities and financial positions. Additionally, you will implement cost benchmarks and a cost accounting system to create accurate costing data at the SKU/customer level. You will lead the development and publishing of KPIs and advise the leadership team on necessary course corrections.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the completion of the month-end close process in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Lead annual budget and monthly forecast development and accountability.
+ Maintain banking reporting requirements.
+ Review accounting standards and internal policies to ensure compliance with GAAP.
+ Supervise and coordinate annual external financial audits and enhance compliance with financial regulations.
+ Supervise payroll, accounts payable, fixed asset depreciation, and accounts receivable processes.
+ Analyze internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting, including personnel training for compliance.
+ Supervise semi-annual physical inventories and reconcile results.
+ Participate in special projects and compile special reports.
+ Perform related duties as required.
Essential Skills
+ Strong expertise in accounting, inventory management, audit, payroll, month-end close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and fixed asset management.
+ Proficiency in job costing, implementation, general ledger management, reconciliation, forecasting, and accounts receivable.
+ Experience in Aviation OEM, MRO, and Aftermarket Aviation Services.
+ Expertise in accounting software such as ERP systems, QuickBooks, AvSight, and Quantum.
+ Ability to develop KPIs and implement SOPs effectively.
+ Bachelor's or graduate degree in finance or accounting.
+ Advanced degree or accounting certification (CPA, CMA, CA).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $68.00/hr.
