**Role Summary**
The Project Director will provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. This position is responsible for providing operational excellence, financial management, team leadership and relationship management with all stakeholders, driving the contracting and comprehensive risk management in order to meet or exceed all contractual and financial targets. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

**Key Role Responsibilities - Core**
_PROJECT DIRECTOR FAMILY - CORE_
- Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project or work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. Develops and executes full business and strategic planning for the work program in support of company strategy and KSIs.
- Safety Leadership: Leads all aspects of the company's safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Investigates safety incidents and retrains staff as needed and implements corrective action.
- Corporate Leadership: Assists senior management with strategy development; develops and supports company-wide initiatives, best practices and policies within the work program.
- Strategy Development and Implementation: Provides strategic direction to team members in light of broader work program strategic plans across all areas of the project lifecycle.
- Client Relationship Management: Serves as the primary client relationship executive at a leadership level, exhibiting a deep knowledge and understanding of the client. Builds and maintains long-term relationships with existing target clients for the assigned work program to build new business opportunities and cultivate repeat wins. Provides project-specific guidance to team members in light of broader client relationship strategy.
- Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Serves as escalation point for all project, financial, business development, contractual and client relationship risks for the work program relative to contractual obligations. Negotiates issue resolution including change orders, contingency expenditures and appropriate fee enhancements. Conducts project risk assessments and escalates various risks, such as quality or financial issues, to supervisor to provide visibility, mitigate risk and create appropriate solutions.
- Subcontractor Relationship & Strategy: Builds close relationships with the subcontractor community in order to develop long-term partners who meet SMS criteria and align with company philosophy and best practice. Drives the selection process of qualified subcontractors to achieve targeted project results. Develops and executes overall subcontractor strategy for work program success.
- Preconstruction: Leads preconstruction discussions with clients at a leadership level. Leads internal team and collaborates with external partners to develop contractual obligations, such as complete estimates with contingencies, schedules, constructability, staffing plan and business plan.
- Project & Schedule Review: Oversees and is accountable for all components of project and schedule review throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure contractual obligations are met and to hold team members accountable to all expectations.
- Resource Management: Ensures staffing levels are sufficient, relative to contractual commitments, schedules, staffing levels and constraints. Plans and adapts resource management as needed to ensure proper staffing levels and results.
- Community & Industry Engagement: Assumes an influential leadership role in community and industry relationship building through networking, representing the organization on boards and serving as the face of the organization to help promote the interests of the company.

We are looking for an experienced, **Casual** , **Terminal Radar (TRACON) Air Traffic Control Instructor** to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
**Candidate(s) selected for this position will function as a TRACON Instructor-II, in the Terminal Radar Domain (RTF) at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK.**
The CTS Academy Instructor-III is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality training to a wide variety of developmental air traffic control students.
The successful candidate for this position must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures, and must demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for obtaining TRACON simulation laboratory certification at the FAA Academy.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. To ensure these training needs are met, the FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at the FAA Academy and FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories.
The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
**US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.**
Candidates for these instructor positions shall have a minimum of 3 years of FAA CPC ATCS experience in a civilian TRACON or other equivalent civilian facility. This experience must have been at a facility equal to or exceeding an FAA ATC Level-7 facility, up to and including Level-9.
**Desired Skills and Experience:**
+ Only candidates with FAA civilian TRACON experience will be considered for this position.
+ Direct experience as a certified ATC Instructor at the FAA Academy is preferred but not required.

Determines airworthiness of work performed. Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials by using NDT and visual means and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness through accomplishment of the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet
+ Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
+ Interface with suppliers / product line to disposition rejects.
+ Perform NDT inspections in compliance with customer work instructions, and AAR procedures and policies.
+ Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures.
+ Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft and Components.
+ Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by the employer.
+ Shall be capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
+ Be capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.
+ Be capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures and work instructions.
+ Approve NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy.
+ Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing, and inspection technologies used by the employer.
+ When specified in the written practice, have a basic knowledge of aircraft or vehicle maintenance.
+ Be capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel.
+ Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination.
+ When specified in the written practice, be capable of auditing outside agencies to ensure the requirements of the written practice are met.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:
+ NAS410 Level II certification for one or more applicable Non-destructive Testing (NDT) disciplines, such as ultrasonic, eddy current.
+ Ability to correctly use one or more types of applicable NDT equipment.
+ 3-4 years experience in aircraft NAS410 Non-destructive Testing (NDT).
+ Familiar with aircraft manufacturers technical documentation.
+ Ability to read and interpret ADs, S/Bs, SRMs, industry NDT specifications and other work instructions.
+ Familiar with regulatory requirements of FAR 145 repair station.
+ FAA Airframe rating is required, both FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
+ Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or 4-years related experience and/or training; or
+ Equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.
+ Develop written instructions form approved general procedures.
+ Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.
+ Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center.
+ Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action.
+ Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations.
+ Computer and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitors personnel exposure data.
+ Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.
+ Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particles, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment.
+ Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors,
+ Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment.
+ Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools.
+ Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment.
+ Perform silver recovery functions.
+ Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
+ U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required.
+ Valid up-to-date A&P license _(optional_ )
+ Shall have three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS). All experience must be within the six most recent years.
+ **Must be trained and qualified per NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189 to the level assigned.**
+ Previous experience in the maintenance, modification, and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components.
+ Completion of an initial Non-Destructive Inspection Level II training course and current basic qualifications.
+ Three (3) or more years' experience as an aviation inspector.
+ Valid Driver's License.
+ Must provide own tools/toolbox. Recruiters will provide toolbox requirements to candidates upon selection.
**Clearance Requirements**
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems on the assigned MDS.
+ Basic knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, hydraulic press machine, and those listed in the assigned MDS Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC).
+ Working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems.
+ Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
+ Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by aircraft mechanic.
+ The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
**Physical Requirements/Working Environment**
+ Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day.
+ Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
+ Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
