Job Description

Valence has built the only AI native coaching platform for enterprise, offering personalized, expert, and human-like guidance and support to any leader or employee. We're not just talking about the future of work - we're building it now, with the most innovative Fortune 500 companies across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and technology.

Our focus is on the problems that actually decide whether AI changes how organizations operate - the ones with no playbook, no obvious answers, and no guarantee of success. If you want to be part of the small group that defines how AI transforms the future at a global scale, this is your chance.

And this isn't for everyone. We're not looking for people who want predictability or incremental progress. We only want those who are restless at the edge of what's possible, who get bored when things feel "done," and who are driven to redefine what AI can mean for leaders, companies, and the world. Because at Valence, the work worth doing is the kind that redefines work itself.

The Role

Valence has a product marketing problem. A good one-the kind that signals momentum and craves sharper storytelling. Nadia, our AI-powered leadership coach, is the most widely deployed of her kind. We have real traction with enterprise customers, global CHROs at our events, and users who genuinely love what we've built. The product is working. The market is responding. But our messaging hasn't kept up.

Our site is a palimpsest-a visible layering of past ideas, half-retired narratives, and outdated positioning. It hints at where we've been more than where we're going. Our campaigns are more scattered than strategic. And in a space evolving as fast as enterprise AI, even great messaging has a short half-life. What resonated last month might feel stale today. If that sounds chaotic, this probably isn't your role. If it sounds energizing, read on.

We're looking for a sharp, hands-on founding Product Marketing Lead to own how we position and communicate about Nadia across the entire buyer and user journey. This role is both strategic and executional. You'll craft narratives that resonate with enterprise HR and talent leaders, while ensuring consistency across sales, marketing, product, and customer success. You'll be at the center of the feedback loop-listening to prospects, customers, and the market, and turning insights into messaging that drives clarity, excitement, and conversion.

You'll work directly with the founder and cross-functional teams to shape a story that reflects the product's actual impact-and moves with the market. This is not a "farm it out" kind of role. It's for someone who wants to get close to the product, the roadmap, the customers, and the words.

We believe great product marketing is strategic storytelling. It's emotional. It's earned. And when it lands-when the message clicks and people nod-it's unforgettable.

We didn't tell this as a story-but you would have. That's why we need you.

About Valence

We're the only company pioneering leadership coaching for large enterprises in an AI-first way. Our mission is to transform how the world's biggest companies approach learning and development, helping teams work better together through AI-powered personalization that adapts to individual goals and organizational culture using the latest advances in machine learning and natural language processing.

We've been featured in Harvard Business Review, TIME, World Economic Forum, Financial Times, Forbes and an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America. Our clients represent the most diverse and sophisticated enterprise AI implementations globally, including Coca-Cola, Delta, Nestlé, General Mills, ServiceNow, Schneider Electric, Deutsche Telekom, AstraZeneca, Prudential, CVS and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Working at Valence means you'll work directly with Fortune 500 technology leaders, building expertise through the most complex enterprise deployments while gaining insight into diverse organizational approaches to AI transformation. These aren't just any enterprise clients - they're the companies defining what AI-first business transformation looks like across every major industry.

What You'll Do
    • Define Nadia's Positioning and Messaging : Lead the development of clear, differentiated, and customer-centric positioning frameworks. Synthesize insights from leadership, customers, and the market to evolve our narrative and voice.
    • Ensure Messaging Consistency Across the Business : Act as the central voice on how we describe our product-partnering with sales, content, client solutions, and product to maintain clarity and alignment from website copy to user emails.
    • Create Content & Guide Content Strategy: Partner with our team of freelancers and agencies to shape strategy and produce content based on your deep knowledge of our product, audience, and market.
    • Own the Website Content Strategy: Determine which pages are needed, and keep messaging, copy, and content updated and consistent.
    • Own Competitive Intelligence : Monitor the evolving enterprise AI and HR tech landscape to inform positioning. Build a feedback loop so product and GTM teams stay ahead of the curve.
    • Support Sales with Messaging That Works : Equip sales with the language, frameworks, and objections-handling materials they need to win. Drive alignment across the funnel-from first impression to close.
    • Lead User-Facing Product Comms : Own the messaging for lifecycle and product launch plans-ensuring our clients and users always understand the "why," not just the "what."
    • Champion the Voice of the Customer : Conduct user and prospect interviews to uncover product understanding, motivations, and pain points. Translate findings into actionable insights for marketing, product, and content teams.

What We're Looking For
    • ~5+ years of experience in product marketing or content-driven GTM roles, preferably in B2B SaaS with enterprise clients
    • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with a portfolio of live content, product messaging, and/or web copy you've led or shaped
    • A deep understanding of enterprise buyer mindsets-bonus if this is focused on HR, L&D, and talent leadership
    • Experience building compelling narratives, copy, and content
    • A track record of collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer teams to drive results
    • Comfort interviewing customers, navigating ambiguity, and iterating quickly based on feedback
    • An ownership mentality: you're hands-on and excited to build, not just guide
    • Familiarity with AI products, content automation tools, and modern sales enablement approaches is a plus

What you'll get
    • Ownership & Rapid Growth
    • Outsized missions from day one, with direct responsibility for company-defining projects
    • Work alongside the executive team with transparency into strategy and decision-making
    • Influence on direction through real-time customer feedback and market insights
    • AI-First Operator
    • Work directly with cutting-edge AI models and next-generation platforms
    • Build expertise in enterprise AI implementation across Fortune 500 companies and multiple industries
    • Establish yourself as a recognized leader among peers in shaping how AI transforms work at a global scale
    • Compensation
    • Competitive salary including base + bonuses
    • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) from day one
    • Generous PTO, company-wide R&R shutdowns, and paid parental leave
    • Retirement plan support for US and global employees
    • Equity
    • Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company at a growth inflection point
    • Financial upside that comes from scaling fast
    • Top-up grants as we scale and you deliver exceptional performance - your compensation grows alongside your impact
    • Top-Performing Culture
    • A culture built for top talent: intensity to win, growth without limits, and a team that solves hard problems and celebrates big wins together
