The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently to execute new ideas and projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for AI and education. This position reports to the Head of Marketing and will need to be in Pacific time zone. You must already have, or be able to obtain, authorization to work in the United States. Here’s What You’ll Do: Create go-to-market strategies and campaigns for new and existing products, and execute them. Speak to our audience of mainly developers and engineers with technical accuracy and messaging that represents our brand and connects with target audiences. Ship regularly. This position will focus on launching AI courses on our learning platform. Maintain and elevate the product voice and identity across channels and campaigns. Responsible for product positioning, creative ideation, copywriting, product narrative, and creating product and marketing assets in collaboration with the marketing team, including design and web development. Work closely with Digital, Editorial, and Event marketing leads on marketing strategy. Champion our end users and act as the internal expert regarding their preferences, pain points, and motivators. Collaborate with product and engineering teams and industry and educational partners. Act as the de facto program manager and coordinate between internal stakeholders and external partners to design and lead multi-channel, integrated marketing projects end-to-end. Support and assist other teammates’ marketing initiatives, including newsletter and event campaigns. There will also be opportunities to work directly with the Founder (Andrew Ng) and other industry experts to craft marketing materials. Here Are The Skills You Should Have: 4+ years of Product Marketing Experience: Ideally at a fast-paced technology company. Marketing to Technical Audiences: Experience marketing to technical or developer audiences, with a solid understanding of developer communities and the ability to engage with them effectively. Startup Experience: Ability to thrive in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats within the marketing department, and navigating ambiguity and uncertainty effectively. AI-native mindset: Naturally seek efficiencies, force multipliers and completely new capabilities by using AI, including building (vibe coding ok) custom apps for workflow optimization. Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft non-clichéd storytelling and persuasive calls to action. Strategic and Tactical Proficiency: Proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, driving marketing strategies while executing day-to-day tasks effectively. Product Launch Management: Demonstrated experience managing product launches end-to-end, from planning to execution. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering results within budget constraints. Bonus If You Have: Consumer Technical Product or Online Learning Industry Experience: Familiarity with consumer technology products or e-learning products, especially AI or emerging tech, with demonstrated success in product launches and marketing. Coding Experience: Experience with coding or a basic understanding and knowledge of Python, preferred for deeper technical comprehension. Creative Thinking: Appetite for generating original, creative ideas and openness to new thinking. Eye for design: Proficiency in communicating direction and feedback for graphic design to create visually compelling marketing materials. What You Get Working With Us: Being part of a world-class team of subject matter experts from various fields (marketing, operation, product, etc.) trying to change the world. Working across cultural and geographical lines alongside our offices in different parts of the world. A culture of lifelong learning supported by a monthly stipend for professional development. The opportunity to be exceptionally creative with your high-impact ideas. Our Defining Values: We care deeply about our learners: We let our learner's needs guide our actions and decisions and put our mission ahead of ourselves. We are great at what we do: We strive for excellence in all dimensions, especially in the quality of the content we create and the people we hire. We default to action: We are comfortable acting with limited information and taking ownership of our decisions. We ask why: We ask the hard questions and are open to being in the wrong. We advocate for the best ideas, not our ideas. We are honest and authentic: We are transparent as an organization, over-communicate to build trust, and share our failures just as we do our successes. We do this together: We help each other grow and succeed and have fun at work, even in a remote environment. We Offer: DeepLearning.AI offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, a monthly education stipend, flexible PTO, and much more. At DeepLearning.AI, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation, and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
