The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $113,100-$226,200 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. JOB SUMMARY:
SEGA's newly formed Marketing Strategy team leads KPI setting, measurement, and campaign analysis across SEGA West's PC & Console titles. Analyzing a wealth of data, this team works to determine the impact of our marketing approach on the sales funnel across first party and D2C sales platforms.
The data analyst role is responsible for working with product marketing counterparts to set KPIs, establish measurement methodology, and analyze the performance of ongoing marketing campaigns providing strategic recommendations for optimizations across the marketing mix. This role will be an expert in brand lift studies, attribution, and analysis of the full marketing funnel with a proven track record in analysis of marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is data-obsessed and has solid experience using large datasets to create insightful reports and drive strategies that improve the impact of our marketing campaigns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Together with Brand Marketing, Media and CRM teams create strategies and measure success of campaigns, channels and customer segments performance, to help drive performance and campaign efficiency
- Develop KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement to track the ongoing performance of our marketing campaigns in real-time
- Leverage campaign performance data to identify ways to optimize marketing spend
- Quantify the effects of community social media engagement and earned/owned media coverage on game sales KPIs
- Produce ad hoc reports on how marketing is impacting traffic, sales, and brand lift across owned and first-party channels
- Assist in design and implementation of statistical testing, like A/B testing and predictive analytics, for improving creative design and user experience for websites and other owned media

This role will be required to be in-office a minimum of 3 days per week, based in Irvine, CA. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:
