Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned professional with deep experience in the Aviation Aftermarket industry. The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of innovative strategies aimed at promoting and maximizing our aftermarket software solution, which includes a comprehensive ERP solution along with complementary products and services. This position will require an in-depth understanding of the aviation aftermarket landscape, a strategic mindset, and a mature understanding as to how this industry buys, sells and repairs aviation assets. Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies specifically tailored for our products and the aviation aftermarket sector. Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and key growth areas in the aviation aftermarket industry to guide marketing initiatives. Identify new product and business opportunities, and validate with customers and prospects, and develop the business model and go-to-market plan. Brand Development & Management: Strengthen brand awareness and differentiate the company from competitors in a competitive market. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels, including digital, print, and events. Evangelize the company’s solutions and drive successful go-to-market implementation. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify market demands and customer needs within the aviation aftermarket industry. Utilize customer insights to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with key decision-makers, such as airline operators, MRO providers, suppliers, and OEMs. Stay ahead of industry changes and regulatory updates, ensuring marketing efforts remain relevant and compliant. Collaborate closely with the sales team to create marketing materials, presentations, and collateral that support sales efforts and enhance customer engagement. Develop and recommend customer retention programs, including loyalty initiatives and after-sales service support. Recommend marketing insights and tools that help the sales team effectively communicate value propositions to potential and existing clients. Industry Relations & Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the aviation aftermarket, including suppliers, distributors, MRO’s and OEM’s. Represent the company at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and events to increase brand visibility and network with potential clients. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 7-10 years of practical, hands on experience in the aviation aftermarket space, with experience in the related sectors (such as MRO, parts distribution, or aerospace services). 5-10 years experience with ERP software systems. Multiple systems is a plus. Must have an intuitive understanding of an ERP systems value and ROI. Strong understanding of aviation aftermarket software products, services, and market dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service. Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics). Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Universal Television Entertainment Group (UTEG) is seeking a strategic and analytical marketer to join our Marketing Strategy team. The Manager, Marketing Strategy will work closely with the Vice President, Marketing Strategy to develop campaign strategies with a focus on growing the Peacock platform and brand. In this role, you will help set and execute the ongoing brand vision for Peacock and develop analysis and materials that inform cross-functional decision-making. Grounding work in data and consumer insights, the Manager, Marketing Strategy will help to identify the most effective ways for Peacock to cultivate audience affinity, acquire new customers, and engage its growing customer base. You may also contribute to title measurement and prioritization across UTEG and play a role in the bid process for sports properties.

Critical to the success of this role is a high aptitude for aligning high-level objectives into tangible business KPIs and a passion for developing new strategic frameworks. This person should be a growth-oriented individual with a desire to work at the intersection of business strategy and creative expression. The Manager, Marketing Strategy will champion UTEG's marketing goals across the NBCUniversal organization, so experience creating cross-functional connections will be critical to success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Translate Peacock's brand strategy for application by cross-functional stakeholders, including content, product marketing, and partnerships
  • Initiate and write strategic briefs that connect critical subscriber growth KPIs and initiatives with content and brand marketing efforts
  • Working closely with Decision Sciences and the Content Analytics teams, analyze data to track the performance of key content and marketing campaigns
  • Build executive presentations to socialize marketing strategies with internal stakeholders
  • Develop external pitch materials to support Peacock and NBC Sports in engaging with talent, leagues, and enterprise partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities to acquire, engage, and retain users
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of consumer and/or entertainment marketing strategy experience
  • Versatile communicator, comfortable conversing with stakeholders across disciplines from creative teams to finance teams
  • Analytical individual with a high degree of comfort utilizing data and financials to support their day-to-day work
  • Strong storyteller with demonstrated writing and presentations skills who brings strategies to life in compelling, easily understood ways
  • Excellent collaborator who builds relationships with ease and rallies people around a common vision
  • A fast learner with a high capacity, able to track and execute multiple projects simultaneously
