Routine responsibilities will require you to:
- Work with colleagues in other departments including engineering, materials, quality and production

- Proficient with CAD software's such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks or similar tools required
- Proficient in data analysis software tools such as Excel and Minitab; MS Visio processes a plus
- Process control knowledge to design and implement process monitoring systems; PLC's and Control panel building a plus
- Experience with ERP systems i.e., SAP; Epicor experience a strong plus
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies and implementing 5S principles and methodologies

- Design and implement new processes, layouts, and equipment configurations to enhance productivity and safety.
- Perform time studies, motion studies, and capacity analyses to establish benchmarks and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
- Train and mentor employees on new processes and lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering within a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma principles (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SQL).
- Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
