The ideal candidate will be very hungry in their sales career and ready to hunt down new business and build out their book of business. This person will be responsible for selling mid-market accounts and SLED business, building out a strong customer base in the Seattle region and driving sales to end u in that region. Education

The anticipated compensation for this role includes a first year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more. This position includes a $75,000 minimum base salary and is eligible for 100% commission/Spiffs. This role is bonus-eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our Account Managers serve as the primary contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to improve construction by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and have ownership to build a work schedule that suits you and your customers. Your responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high-level customer consultation.

What does the role involve?
  1. Building relationships: Meet with customers promptly and be actively present to identify business opportunities. Create value through long-term, profitable relationships.
  2. Time and Territory Management (TTM): Create a daily schedule, including presence on job sites and client offices, to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
  3. Be a Hilti Champion: Carry technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
  4. Tracking your progress: Use Salesforce to record all interactions and sales activities, as reporting is a key part of this role.

Our account managers earn between $69,000 - $8,000, with a target bonus of 13,000- 19,000 upon meeting sales goals. The role offers uncapped bonus potential. Starting salary depends on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Additionally, we offer:

  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Ability to walk on construction sites, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Flexible and adaptable schedule
