A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, that brings the energy of style to life with compelling in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. Style Consultants are welcoming and helpful in meeting guests needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room. Ensuring the floor is set full with the right product, accurately priced and signed on the salesfloor with the right sizes, styles, and colors. Areas include A&A, Home and baby.

- Our GUEST service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
- Retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies and basic visual merchandising
- Industry trends including: style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
- Set, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest
As a Style Consultant, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact. Follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
- Gain knowledge from store tools to have a clear understanding of key metrics, sales goals, top and bottom departments, inventory levels, top shortage categories, guest traffic and peak times
- Ensure product availability by keeping the salesfloor replenished and organized to create a guest ready, easy-to-shop experience that's welcoming and inspiring for all
- Create an inviting shopping environment by staying current on trends and brand guides along with executing visual standards and visual merchandising guides,
- Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire and influence guests and as an opportunity to provide personalized recommendations to complete their look
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- Acknowledge guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption, review sales trends to understand how to prioritize daily workload based on business and guest needs
- Support changes to product assortment and keep the area inspiring to guests all year round by setting transitions on time, remerchandising new product and maintaining a brand space following new sets
- Be an expert and dedicated owner of assigned areas to ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock and accurately signed for guests
- Ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for defined categories and be knowledgeable of products on promotion
- Execute revisions, sales plans, planograms and Visual Merchandise Guide (VMG)s for defined categories
- Accurately execute backroom fills, inclusive of replenishment needs and guest requests
- Own and maintain organization of backroom aisles per standards , inclusive of backstock and locating items for your areas
- Prioritize guest interaction and engagement while balancing task
- Solve for guest needs, using available tools like myCheckout or the Target App to consistently offer selections that are not available in store
- Thank the guest in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target. Remind them that you are here to help in the future.
- Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- All other duties based on business needs

- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

About Montrose's Real Time Air Division
We believe in helping protect the air we breathe, water we drink and soil that feeds us as our purpose.
Our Real Time Air (RTA) division helps clients monitor emissions from their facilities using the latest sensor technology and continuous emissions monitoring through our partner network. We design monitoring networks, install hardware and provide monitoring and advisory services through our proprietary Environmental Data Platform (EDP) software system.
Clients work with Montrose to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations as well as to support voluntary monitoring programs as part of their commitment to operating responsibly within their communities. About the Business Development (BD) Manager Role
The BD Manager has a wide range of duties associated with increasing sales as well as fostering strong relationships with our existing customer base.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Prospect and identify new accounts from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and by leveraging the latest prospecting software platforms to connect Montrose with clients researching solutions
- Be a solutions expert for clients as they develop plans to be in compliance with forthcoming air monitoring regulations for hazardous air pollutants such as ethylene oxide, benzene and others.
- Qualify leads via phone, email, and research and respond to web enquires
- Schedule sales appointments with prospects and clients and coordinate meetings, special events (i.e., lunch/learns), and travel with subject matter experts (SME)
- Attend conferences and trade shows to represent Montrose and be a brand ambassador
- Facilitate and coordinate quote/proposal/RFP production and delivery to client from initial contact through purchase order, working with our Proposal Center and Operational teams
- Meet quarterly sales targets generated from proactive selling activity
- Prepare monthly reports highlighting sales, quote activity, pipeline forecast, salient client commentary, and market conditions (identify opportunities and risks)
- Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring and communicating with clients, making performance changes when necessary, and by sharing results with the Senior Management Team.
- Practice safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
- Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops

Our Ideal Candidate
- Lead generation and business development: The ability to proactively prospect, pursue and qualify leads, and assemble talking points, introductory emails, and prospecting scripts.
- Can manage a portfolio that meets or exceeds quota/targets, and always have a clear comprehension of the accounts in your pipeline (stage, key actions to move them forward), and to proactively mitigate the risks of losing clients.
- You can proactively engage in high quality sales administration activities, such as a development and maintenance of strategic account plans, sales forecasts and analytics and other reporting, consistently using our CRM (Salesforce) as the primary source of truth for client data.
- A natural networker, able to cultivate relationships from the start and deepen over time; capable of identifying and building relationships with key contacts and "right fit" ideal client companies.
- A client centric advisor, able to identify and filter your clients' specific pain points and use a consultative approach to the customer engagement to position Montrose offerings to address their business needs.
- You have 5+ years of selling experience with a proven track record of success in business development for technical services or products, preferably in environmental related fields.
- An undergraduate degree in a technical field (ie, chemistry, engineering, life sciences)

- Development of improved sales materials, contract templates, bid defense materials, and other sales/marketing collateral
- Implementation and maintenance of sales operational metrics, and continuous improvement in metrics performance
- Must have at least a bachelor's or master's degree in science, business or related fields
- Requires 6-10 years experience in business development or sales in the clinical research industry working for a Clinical Research Organization.
- Successful results winning business with sponsor pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
- Very good industry reputation with a wide customer base of contacts.
- Proven experience in leading direct and cross-functional teams to optimize performance and contributions.
