Help Universal Orlando Resort learn about and improve the experiences of our guests. Interview Specialist 1 will play a key role in assisting the Consumer Insights team in providing business critical information about our guests: where they're from, why they're here, and what they love (and don't) about their experiences with us. The main role is to intercept and qualify guests across Universal Orlando properties to determine whether they are eligible and willing to share feedback with us on a range of topics. Conduct structured surveys with guests and occasionally conduct observations and solicit more open-ended feedback from guests.
Pay Rate: $18.75
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Intercept, recruit, qualify, and complete surveys with guests in a high paced environment at park entrance and exit to obtain information regarding origin and overall park experience, while meeting daily quotas and following specified protocols and guidelines. Includes set up and breakdown of materials.
+ Intercept, recruit and qualify guests in a high paced environment to complete self-administered surveys, including but not limited to QR code surveys on various topics, while meeting daily quotas and following specified protocols and guidelines. Includes set up and breakdown of materials.
+ Conduct brief, semi-structured interviews with guest to collect close and open-ended data on topics of interest. Quickly and faithfully record/type open-ended responses into an iPad and consistently and accurately code responses while meeting daily quotas and following specified protocols and guidelines. Includes set up and breakdown of materials
+ Conduct fixed counts/observations of guest behaviors, interactions, or other observable phenomenon
+ Recruit for focus groups, interviews, and usability studies as needed
+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Perform other duties, as assigned
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior research interviewing experience or guest services experience would be a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
+ Demonstrated ability to strictly adhere to protocols and guidelines
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills; experience approaching and engaging strangers a plus
+ Excellent listening skills and the ability to retain information as people speak
+ Organizational and time management skills
+ Integrity, honesty, and a commitment to the quality, reliability, and confidentiality of data
+ An openness to improve, learn from constructive feedback, and work as a team
+ Flexibility to shift between tasks, manage multiple tasks
+ Ability to accurately and legibly document information
+ Comfort using technology including conducting surveys on tablets, laptops, and iPads. Assist Coordinators and Senior Interviewers with equipment set up and breakdown as needed (iPads, tablets, etc.)
+ Proficiency reading, typing, speaking, and understanding English
+ Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time as well as adjust to surrounding environment including all encountered outdoor weather conditions.

- Support end-to-end market research projects: define objectives, select methodologies and support internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Procure market research consultancy services for projects requiring resources outside of the market research team.
- Perform in-depth analyses of survey results to identify customer experience priorities and new target markets to grow ridership.
- Create visualizations, draft executive summaries, slide decks, and one-pagers tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
- Design, program, and deploy print and web-based questionnaires.
- Monitor online survey campaigns, ensuring target response rates are met and high-quality data is captured.
- Clean, analyze, and visualize survey data using Excel or SPSS.
- Identify trends, segment customer groups, and develop actionable insights to support service improvements and ridership growth.
- Translate complex data into clear presentations, briefs, and on-pagers for Board/CAC meetings and public communications.

- Procure and oversee external market research consultants in collaboration with the Contracts and Procurement team and internal stakeholders.
- Support market research projects, track budgets, timelines, and deliverables, and maintain project financials using the in-house finance system.
- Maintain and update the market research library - responding to requests for historical data or ridership trends.
- Ensure all research activities comply with Title VI, ADA, and privacy regulations.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging research tools, and transit-related trends to continuously enhance research capabilities.
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a safe manner to protect one's self, fellow employees and the public from injury or harm. Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures in an effort to reduce or eliminate accidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Market Research Analyst, you will:
•Work with team to support CFC's digital initiatives, including but not limited to websites, online learning and events management systems, online financial tools and applications.
•Work with team to design, develop and maintain member dashboards, user interfaces and microsites to support member engagement initiatives.

We're looking for an Analyst to join our Client Analytics & Insights (CAI) team. The CAI team provides an advisory service that turns Opensignal's proprietary data into useful market insights for our clients. The Analyst will play a key role in engagements with one or more major client accounts - working to create and communicate high-value insights from our data with direct client interaction.
The Analyst will apply creativity, analytical curiosity, and industry knowledge to our client's most critical business questions. The Analyst will enjoy working with data and translating it into a compelling story. They will work with large, complex data sets and collaborate with team members to build client deliverables. The Analyst will develop real, actionable insights and recommendations for our clients. The Analyst will represent the Opensignal brand in communications with clients and be dedicated to creating an outstanding customer experience.
What you will be doing?
Including but not limited to:
- Develop and execute novel and complex analysis that leverages Opensignal's proprietary data and other in-house data sets.
- Apply tools such as Excel, SQL, and R to extract useful data, create reports, and ultimately deliver client insights.
- Serve as an industry expert by researching and analyzing key industry trends, events, and players.
- Tell stories with data - starting from a detailed examination of data, develop compelling narratives about market trends and implications for our clients.
- Develop and deliver client presentations, contributing independently to creating PowerPoint presentations for in-person and remote delivery.
- Engage deeply with your assigned clients by delivering regular reports, responding to ad-hoc requests, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support relationships with assigned clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, support contract renewals, and drive sales of new products.
- Partner with sales and marketing to communicate Opensignal's capabilities, product suite, and market insights to clients and prospects.
- Understand and anticipate client needs to drive research, product development, and client priorities.
- Evaluate the methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, market research, or management consulting.
- Experience planning and executing novel analysis of diverse data sets.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL, R, or VB for analysis of big data.
- Client service experience or experience supporting diverse internal stakeholders.
- Strong business writing and presentation development skills.
- Strong oral presentation skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Experience working cross-functionally to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and unstructured environments.
