**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred. Licenses as required.
Experience: Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include five (5) years of relationship building in the group life, disability, and absence management area. Advanced sales and technical ability in the 1000+ market
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, strong organizational skills, excellent negotiation skills

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Essential Job Duties
- Begin every day at the office preparing and planning your day as well as attending training/team meetings
- Conduct outbound calling to set face-to-face appointments with clients
- Learn and demonstrate the benefits of all of POA’s products, services, and solutions to your clients
- Develop and present proposals tailored to each individual client’s specific needs

The DBD serves as a mentor to the admissions team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. **Responsibilities**
**Position Summary**
Develops and executes business development strategies. Establishes and monitors results-producing relationships with referring physicians, case managers, social workers and payers. Educates team members and referral sources about our hospital's physical medicine and rehabilitation service capabilities, rehabilitation industry changes, specific hospital clinical programs, clinical outcomes and appropriate patient referrals/admissions. Provides leadership and oversight to the clinical liaison team as well as the admissions team. This position will report directly to hospital CEO.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Education & Experience (Including Licenses)**
+ **Clinical background as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist strongly preferred.**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required. Masters preferred.
+ Minimum of five years progressive experience in healthcare sales and marketing required.
+ Knowledge of managed care and physical rehabilitation required.
