This position will support the lifecycle of net new, recurring, and automated digital marketing campaigns. The role will collaborate with teams such as digital strategy, development, branding and creative, quality assurance, data analytics, and external partners. 

The Campaign Analyst will be responsible for creating project plans, building workback schedules, gathering technical requirements, and project managing varying levels of complex digital efforts. 

The position will not have direct reports; however, this person will serve as a leader within the team as we are seeking an experienced marketer with project management/account management experience. This person will work with external vendors and partners requiring vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute launch plans for integrated digital marketing campaigns overseeing digital marketing calendar by building project requirements and timelines in project management platforms
  • Audit marketing requests for feasibility, scope, timing, and requirements
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data 
  • Manage multiple projects/campaigns simultaneously 
  • Work with cross-functional teams throughout the campaign lifecycle development, implementation, measurement, and management of digital initiatives across various primary and connected channels including corporate websites, email, landing pages, and other online communities and channels
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and the ability to lead projects, communicate risks and changes to stakeholders and leadership, and pivot when necessary
  • Work actively with clients, cross-functional teams, and the Campaign Management team, participating in knowledge sharing and process efficiency 
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and new technologies and make recommendations for how the company can stay ahead of the curve

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing metrics, email design, development best practices, deliverability, analytics, and reporting
  • Experience working in project management platforms (Airtable and Workfront preferred)
  • Strong understanding of project management, project lifecycle and customer journey mapping
  • B2B and B2C marketing/industry experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • 3+ years of managing digital marketing campaigns from E2E
  • Thrive in fast-paced agile work environment 
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented 
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field

What you'll bring.
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3+ years in bid management, campaign management/optimization, or digital media operations (search, display media, network media buys, social media).
    • Skills:
      • Experience with inventory forecasting, digital specs/formats, and media math (CPM, CPV, CTR, CPC, ROAS).
      • Familiarity with media concepts like viewability, IVT, and brand safety.

Job Location: Chicago, IL

Salary Range: $110,000 - $30,000 (On Target Earning)

The Opportunity

The Regional Director, Campaign Management – Midwest is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution, performance, and continuous improvement of digital advertising campaigns across the Midwest region. This individual will manage a regional team of campaign managers, drive operational excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.

This role requires a hands-on, performance-oriented leader who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and guiding a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of programmatic media and campaign operations, along with experience managing teams in a regional capacity.

The Daily To-Do

  • Regional Strategy & Team Leadership
    • Set and execute a strategic vision for campaign management in the Midwest region, in alignment with the wider national team, company goals and revenue targets.
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of regional campaign managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
    • Support the professional growth of team members through feedback, training, and development opportunities.
    • Ensure consistency and quality in campaign execution, leveraging regional insights to improve performance and efficiency.
Campaign Operations & Performance

  • Oversee the planning, setup, delivery, and pacing of digital advertising campaigns to ensure revenue goals and performance KPIs are met.
  • Monitor regional campaign metrics and proactively address issues related to delivery, tracking, or optimization.
  • Implement operational best practices to enhance team productivity and campaign quality.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex campaign issues, working in partnership with internal teams and platform vendors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to align campaign execution with broader business goals.
  • Provide insights and feedback from the regional team to inform product development and workflow enhancements.
  • Collaborate with peers in other regions to share knowledge and standardize effective practices.

Process Improvement & Technology

    • Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency gains, and improved campaign workflows at the regional level.
    • Stay informed on the latest tools and technologies in digital advertising and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising or campaign management, including at least 2 years in a people management role
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising platforms, ad-serving technologies, and media operations
  • Display expert knowledge of DFP, 3rd party ad servers, etc., and various creative tags and tracking pixels
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage complex workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager 360, Campaign Manager, third-party ad servers, and performance tracking tools
  • Proficiency in Excel, G-Suite, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Connected TV and campaign automation is a plus
