Starting as a one-person team, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting. Over time they will scale their team as firmwide headcount and hiring needs expand. This individual will own and evolve our talent strategy, working closely with leadership to identify current and future hiring needs, attract top-tier candidates, and deliver a best-in-class hiring experience. This role has the opportunity to shape how we construct teams at Composition Wealth. They’ll be responsible for building the recruiting function from the ground up—defining process, evaluating tools, managing candidate pipelines, and serving as a thought partner to business leaders across the firm. This role will report to Composition Wealth’s Chief Operating officer with additional reporting requirements to firm leaders and hiring managers. Job Responsibilities Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, outreach, relationship management, and coordination with executive leadership. Develop and maintain a strong network of advisor talent within the wealth management space through direct outreach, industry relationships, and participation in relevant conferences and events. Partner with leadership to understand current and future hiring needs—especially as they relate to firm growth and scalability—and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly. Design and execute targeted campaigns to attract advisors aligned with our client-first approach and growth strategy. Create compelling recruiting materials that articulate Composition’s value proposition for candidates. Identify and manage recruiting tools and platforms to better screen candidates and determine role fit, streamline communication and pipeline progression, and enhance onboarding. Establish ideal candidate profiles and skill criteria for our most commonly filled roles and measure candidates against these templates, improving the likelihood of successful hiring. Establish a repeatable hiring process to encourage interview best practices and ensure hiring manager adherence. Track recruiting KPIs to inform decision-making and continuously improve pipeline health and process effectiveness. Skills/Experience 10-15+ years of direct recruiting experience, including full ownership of and success in filling senior roles. Ideal candidate will also have 5+ years of experience within the Wealth Management industry. Strong understanding of the advisory landscape, with a proven ability to attract and engage high-performing advisors. Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor. Demonstrated ability to build and manage talent pipelines across multiple functions and seniority levels. Experience optimizing recruiting operations (ATS, workflows, metrics). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging directly with candidates, advisors, and leadership. Responsibilities

  • Sources, assess, recruits, and closes top talent.
  • Identify and execute recruitment strategies that will attract and source quality candidates by considering the most sourcing tools and advertising methods (while maintaining a ROI Focus).
  • Identify qualified applicants, conducts diagnostic interviews, administer tests, evaluates applicant qualifications, provides detailed candidate write ups, schedule interview, conduct HM debrief sessions and checks references. Extends job offers to candidates explaining full job description, terms of assignment, pay rate, and benefits.
  • Maintains data integrity in all systems and provides weekly update reports to TA Standards.
  • Build a proactive pipeline and actively manage these relationships for selected roles in order to have talent ‘ready’ for future opportunities.
  • Maintaining close relationship with the Business, HR Business Partners and respective Hiring Managers.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition, which are in line with the Talent Acquisition department needs.

Requirements

  • 5 years of successful recruiting experience
  • Experience working in a high performing and fast paced working environment
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel including the ability to create pivot tables
  • Ability to source candidates through multiple channels
  • Understanding of recruitment metrics and how to manage a recruitment desk
  • Ability to utilize multiple closing techniques
  • Ability to pull together and analyze recruitment market data
