• Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe, courteous manner, and in accordance with applicable state, local, DOT and Hours of Service regulations.

• Delivers products/merchandise to various customers in a timely manner.
• Ensures delivery of appropriate products/merchandise in accordance with customer request.
• Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
• Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to transportation.
• Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.
• Returns credit products/merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.
• Assists in always maintaining a neat and clean workplace.
• Reports overstock occurrences to transportation immediately.
• Provides customer with copy of signed invoice/credit form for products/merchandise delivered and/or picked up.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
• Stacks and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders to meet scheduled customer times and maintain adequate productivity rate to meet delivery schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites.
• Conduct and document daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift equipment.
• Flexibly accept additional delivery requests to align with business requirements.
• Utilize a company-issued handheld computer for delivery confirmation and navigation.
• Handle forklift and/or overhead crane operations as required.
• Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are visually appealing for customer delivery.
• Manage rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center.
• Assist with storage center operations as necessary when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck cab, free from debris.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports to Management, typically a Market Manager or Territory Manager.
• This position does not have direct managerial responsibilities over other employees.

PAY RANGE: 27.50 per hour

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of 1 year certification (DOT requirement).
• Preferred experience with electronic equipment and software.
• Ability to perform basic math skills essential for the role.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will be considered.
• Willingness to attend a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
