The **Clinical Operations Supervisor** is responsible for the clinical operations in the departments to ensure that quality of care and excellent customer service are delivered to our patients.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee the clinical staff and/or non-clinical staff within clinical operations including training, mentoring, and counseling
+ Ensures quality Customer Service is provided to the patients and visitors courteously and promptly by staff
+ Effectively communicates both Group and Department-specific information to staff for patient education (i.e., hours, insurance plans etc.)
+ Improves quality of care by performing and reviewing competencies and implementing appropriate action plans as needed to bring staff to standards of care
+ Works with staff to ensure the workflows are being maintained, patient flow is efficient, and quality of care is delivered
+ Ensure employees are aiding and supporting the providers by preparing equipment, stocking rooms, addressing patient concerns, and delivering clear and concise documentation of patient messages
+ Develops and implements policies and workflows to meet the daily needs of the practice to increase patient satisfaction, decrease errors and improve quality of care

**Required Qualification:**
+ 2+ years of experience in a medical practice environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ LPN or Registered Nurse with NY license in good standing
+ 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
+ Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
+ Familiarity with electronic medical records
+ Proficiency with using computers and computer programs

+ Working to prevent and or resolve drug-related issues, and providing drug information to patients and families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
+ Coordinating clinical projects, assisting with formulary decisions and, ensuring billing compliance and revenue capture and helping to lead other projects as needed
+ Serving as a resource and drug expert in specialty medications and increasing knowledge through research and writing activities

+ Analyzing and capturing new prescription sources and working with each clinic location's decision makers to grow our business. Identifying areas of expansion within the clinics and ensuring optimum efficiency by reducing obstacles for providers
+ Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring appropriate and timely communication between the customer and CPS staff
+ Documenting, tracking and following-up on critical action items both on daily as well as long-term basis
+ Monitoring critical daily operations and identifying opportunities for streamlining
+ Developing and maintaining an escalation protocol on situation-specific matters
+ Ensuring consistency and appropriateness of clinical and operational documentation within CPS and site systems to maintain compliance with CPS protocols as well as ACHC, URAC, and other relevant accrediting body standards
+ Delivering "VIP level" service to each patient in every interaction, ensuring they perceive our customer site pharmacy as the pharmacy of choice and ultimately impacting their level of success in their therapy
+ Enrolling specialty patients into the program by assisting with recruitment of patients to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes
+ Supporting and working closely with patients for the life of their therapy to help them achieve the best possible clinical outcomes through every step of their therapeutic journey
+ Working to prevent and or resolve drug-related issues, and providing drug information to patients and families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
+ Coordinating clinical projects, assisting with formulary decisions and, ensuring billing compliance and revenue capture and helping to lead other projects as needed
+ Serving as a resource and drug expert in specialty medications and increasing knowledge through research and writing activities

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD and an active pharmacist license in applicable state
+ Experience working in a lead role in a healthcare setting
+ 5+ years of experience working as a pharmacist
+ Knowledge of the specialty pharmacy industry
+ Proficiency in standard workplace software (e.g., MS Office)
**Hospital Requirements: (may be required)**
+ (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
+ (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
+ Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
+ Hep B3 Series

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working in an early-stage health care environment
+ Proficiency with standard software used in a healthcare setting such as EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech), dispensing systems (e.g., QS1, RX30, Computer Rx)

**Job Summary**
The Director, Clinical Operations is responsible for the clinical operations within the Clinical Contact Center team.
**Job Duties**
- Directs all Clinical Contact Center operations
- Implements direction and performance standards for multiple lines of business to assure that service targets are achieved.
- Manages and evaluates the performance of various clinical management activities.
- Aligns with Senior Leadership, to ensure operational goals and objectives for outsourced operations are understood and met.
- Ensures services provided to members are compliant with contractual expectations and specific regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in discussion and execution of procedures, protocols, benefits, and services, assists with training of new employees as needed, shows flexibility in meeting changing performance objectives consistent with department objectives.
- Develops standardized methods of improving production, quality, and efficiency
- Ensures partners receive support for operational issues.
- Produces solutions to a problem or issues Calculates risks f and takes decisive actions where necessary. Ensures that guidance or action is in keeping with policy and procedure.

**Job Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION** :
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) Program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** :
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a healthcare environment with directly transferable skills highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years' experience performing supervisory/management work including Clinical Operations.
- Experience with Contact Center operations.
- Experience managing professional staff in a clinical Contact Center.
- Experience managing process improvement activities.
**REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION** :
Active, unrestricted State Registered Nursing (RN) license in good standing
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE** :
+ 9 years' experience in a healthcare environment with directly transferable skills highly preferred
+ 9 years' experience performing supervisory/management work including Clinical Operations.
