The **Manger, Cloud Architecture** will oversee the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Cloud computing is a model of IT deployment whereby a provider will manage the development of scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms. Manger, Cloud Architecture has significant experience in system architecture, design, development and has developed a broad and deep expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Lead the evaluation process to select, implement, and maintain the best cloud solutions / strategy for the organization.
+ Lead and create architectural artifacts supporting active initiatives in an agile environment.
+ Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and make well-reasoned decisions.
+ Mentor peers and junior associates, with the desired outcome being a highly qualified and world-class IT organization.
+ Ensure standards are maintained, balancing consistency with flexibility to support business needs.
+ Establish principals, standards, reference architectures, and strategies.
+ Provide guidance for optimization of IT and business policies / procedures / processes.
+ Oversee delivery projects to ensure architectural compliance and success.
+ Create transitional architectural documents to aid in large and complex system planning and delivery
+ Facilitate all management, development, maintenance and performance initiatives related to the systems assigned to this position.
+ Maintain an understanding of the systems assigned to this position.
+ Actively participate in vendor user communities and other professional organizations to remain current and forward thinking in trends and application of assigned systems.
+ Ensures that robust security management and privacy requirements are incorporated into cloud hardware, software, and applications.
+ Maintain an awareness of industry and market best practices to generate ideas for ongoing systems improvements.
+ Support a strong business partnership focus throughout the department / organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education
+ Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field
Work Experience
+ Five (5) or more years of industry experience
+ Five (5) or more years leading large scale architecture efforts for cloud deployments utilizing DevOps.
+ Seven (7) or more years of experienced designing, administering, and implementing software solutions.
+ Expert level knowledge of two or more top tier cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.)
+ Computer software experience in computer systems design, development, and analysis.
+ Cloud applications programming, database administration, systems programming, data communications, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on complex projects.
+ Certified Cloud Architect certification _(preferred)_
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
+ Possess an outstanding record of professional experience that demonstrates progressive responsibilities and significant senior level management in a large-scale, complex Information Technology environment.
+ Must be strategic thinker, able to set expectations, deliver against those expectations, and provide IT leadership for the Company.

**Overview of the Role:**
The **Cloud Security Architecture Lead Analyst** is responsible for defining and driving the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security architecture across Citi's global cloud initiatives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and industry best practices.
You will partner with Infrastructure Teams, Application Developers, Compliance Officers, and Risk Managers to embed secure design principles and mitigate evolving cloud threats in a highly regulated environment. You will also drive a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Cloud Security Strategy:** Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy for Google Cloud that aligns with the organization's business goals and compliance standards, such as GDPR, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
+ **Architecture Design:** Develop security infrastructure architectures and frameworks, focusing on protecting sensitive data and mitigating risks across networks, storage,applications, and authentication services using automation across a hybrid cloud architecture.

Basic Qualifications
