**Job Summary**
Perform work of a routine nature in connection with the coal conveying system and unskilled manual work in and about the plant yard, coal docks, and in buildings, as assigned.
**Job Description**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Perform cleaning work on the coal conveyor system, such as bunkers, runways, trip room, belt decks, barge unloading equipment, coal docks and barges,tunnels and work areas.
+ Load, unload and handle coal, materials, supplies and equipment; where required, couple and uncouple railroad cars; set and release brakes, operate rail switches; signal locomotive operator when to start, stop, go forward or backward; and flag traffic at crossings. Haul and move materials, supplies and equipment; clean and remove ashes and debris; cut grass and weeds; dig ditches; work on tracks
+ track beds; replace light bulbs and similar unskilled manual tasks.
+ Clean and perform lubrication and minor repairs on equipment.
+ Secure, identify and transport coal samples, as directed.
+ Inspect fire equipment as assigned.
+ Operate mobile equipment as assigned assist offloading fuel trucks and other fuel deliveries.
+ Report irregularities and abnormal conditions to the appropriate supervision .
+ Assist in training other employees and instruct and direct other employees assigned to assist.
+ Perform similar or less skilled work
**What We're Looking For:**
Education requirements are listed below:
+ 2-year technical degree or or high school diploma and two years related military and/or electric utility technical experience
+ Must have performed the duties of, and have maintained all the qualifications and current certifications of Equipment Operator-Junior, and must be able to pass an examination and/or demonstrations as determined by the Company Must satisfactorily complete, in such time frames as may be established by the Company, all required training to advance to the Coal Equipment Operator classification , or vacate the Coal Handler classification.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Production Associate I will primarily work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold. This process includes pricing and testing guidelines as required. The Associate is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion. The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service. The Associate may be assigned to various areas that they have been trained in to include hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, mechanical goods, books, or shoes per the business needs. This position may occasionally work in donations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI)s for assigned duties.
- Sort donated items by type (books, media, textiles, housewares etc.) which include season, color, and quality of product.
- Hang, size, and price, tag, and prepare items to be sold on the sales floor.
- Inspect and quick test items as needed that plug-in or run on batteries to ensure the product is in good workable condition.
- Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product (Good, Better, Best), which may include researching the item’s value on the internet or utilizing other company tools and standards.
- Ensure production and sales floor areas are well organized, stocked, properly merchandised, and clean.
- Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers; answer product questions as needed.
- Rotate or pull old or unsold product in a timely manner from the sales floor to ensure product selection is refreshed as necessary.
- May have additional responsibility of processing E-Commerce product (sort, hang, size, price, tag, etc.).
- Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
- Ensures work areas are clear and organized and adhere to continuous improvement standards.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.

Education:
- A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
- One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.

- Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
