As a Collection Management Advisor (CMA), you are experienced at identifying and evaluating possible counterintelligence concerns. You can prioritize and drive the collection of foreign intelligence through written products and briefings.
What You'll Do
You will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. You will effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the organization and demonstrate proficiency in using various classified and open-source databases.
Responsibilities can include:
+ Conduct research and analysis to support a cross-functional team by drafting, editing, and submitting reports to meet contract deliverables.
+ Review all team documentation to ensure it meets requirements and is complete, accurate, and timely.
+ Create and update databases to ensure team's work is accurately documented and maintained in accordance with applicable policies and regulations

Job Description
The **Collection Management Officer (CMO)** works to evaluate data for dissemination to appropriate partners, assists in the drafting of reports, and interfaces with respective regional and subject matter experts with equities in the information being disseminated. The CMO is available to field questions and to educate colleagues on the Sponsor's production cycle, the threshold for dissemination, product lines, and to troubleshoot dissemination-related questions.
The CMO provides governance for technical collection, reporting, and dissemination of products; provides strategic and tactical input on products as required; responds to customer requirements that can include an array of technical topics; creates sophisticated leads and proposals; provides expert knowledge of the technology; has a track record of effective business practices; provides excellent communications; and follows established reporting policies.
**Key duties include, but are not limited to, the following:**
+ Work with a staff Collection Management Officer (CMO) to help bridge scientific officers and mission center CMO's with respect to disseminating technical intelligence reporting resulting from technical operations
+ Understand and stay abreast of key technical operations
+ Coordinate on technical intelligence reports
+ Coordinate on directorate and mission center cables from the perspective of protecting directorate equities
+ Provide customer feedback on and assess impact of technical intelligence reports to directorate management and officers
+ Stay abreast of key emerging technologies, specifically the nexus of those technologies to Customer and directorate operations and capabilities
+ Help directorate officers identify avenues for technical intelligence collection and dissemination as regular reporting or memorandums
+ Remain informed about reporting policies that impact the classification of technical intelligence reports
+ Educate directorate officers on CMO tradecraft
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
+ Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and at least eight years of work experience
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Minimum of four years of experience supporting the Customer in an operational capacity, preferably as a CMO or previous experience as an analyst
+ Previous experience with operational and CMO tradecraft
+ If no prior experience in the Customer's scientific directorate, then willingness to learn basic directorate capabilities and methodologies in general terms
+ Knowledge of operational products, including various intelligence reports and cables
+ Knowledge of operational systems and tools
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills

Summary
The Information Governance Analyst focuses on information governance, compliance assessments, DLP, records/data retention, technical projects related to records/data management, insider threat and other similar areas. You will play a key role in optimizing data management best practices, and streamlining processes within the systems that store sensitive data - and subsequently managing the projects to implement these improvements. So you must be passionate about business process optimization and workflow improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Document, analyze, and assess current records, email and file management processes. Identify issues and potential risks. Analyze potential benefits and risks of alternatives; measure the impact of planned changes on legal staff, administrative personnel; and provide justification for the recommended solution.
- Conduct analysis in response to requests to evaluate document security. Take necessary action to update document security as appropriate.
- Prepare recommendations for the design or reengineering of processes and procedures to facilitate compliance with records and information management program requirements.
- Move, tag, and set the appropriate security settings on electronic documents. Conduct initial investigation into alerts triggered by potentially inappropriate document exports.
- Assist with the review of output from periodic scans of documents in the document management system.
- Support the process for document entitlement reviews in accordance with client requirements.
- Assist with file release, destruction, and electronic workspace organization projects in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Contribute to presentations or written reports describing recommendations to process or system owners.
- Assist with development of change management programs and implementation plans needed to comply with records and information management program requirements.
- Stay abreast of leading practices for the creation, use, maintenance and disposition of records.
- Prepare status reports and compile statistics on projects. Create or update spreadsheets, pivot-tables and other relevant report metrics.

What you'll be doing:
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain information governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Data Management and Compliance:
- Monitor and enhance policies and procedures in compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and industry standards.
- Manage the information management requirements, from creation to retention and disposal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with stakeholders in other functions like IT and Data Strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements around data retention, data archival and legal preservation and collection.
- Identify and communicate risks related to data governance and information security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment on information governance initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on information governance policies and best practices.
- Lead a network of lead Information Management Specialists assigned throughout the organization to assist in sharing policy updates, manage SharePoint repositories or any other Information Management project that may come up.
- Data Quality and Classification:
- Establish and maintain data classification frameworks to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
- Monitor and improve data quality by identifying and resolving inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Technology and Tools:
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to support information governance efforts.
- Manage and maintain systems used for data governance, such as data cataloging and metadata management tools.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of information governance programs.
- Prepare reports for senior management on compliance status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information governance, data governance, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with information governance tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Gimmal).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Governance Professional (CIGP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are a plus.
- Expertise in data lifecycle management, retention policies, and cloud-based data governance practices, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $116,200.00 - $168,400.00.
