Qualifications:
• Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2 , this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

As a Commercial Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks to transport various types of cargo. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer, adhering to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and DOT regulations.

- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transport goods over designated routes, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation (e.g., bills of lading).

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of DOT regulations, including hours of service.
- Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Strong understanding of truck maintenance and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull freight as required.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Pacific Northwest region, or willingness to learn.
