Job Description
Contacts commercial, fleet and national accounts; traveling a designated territory, soliciting the sale of tires and other merchandise and services, quoting prices, writing orders, etc.
· Writing up tires to be retreaded for accounts or for stock
· Demonstrates new merchandise, showing advantages or special features of products.
· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
· May assist with sales and service work, store inventories and miscellaneous functions within the store but is limited to not more than 20% of weekly hours worked by store non-exempt employees in performing and duties not directly related to commercial sales in any week.
· Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.
· Any other duties as assigned.
Skills / Education / Requirements:
· Must pass pre-employment drug screen
· High School diploma or GED required
· Sales, tire industry, management, etc. experience preferred, but not required
· Ability to travel locally to provide customer support.

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. The Commercial Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing, managing, and executing a client’s business plan using the provided tools, methods, and processes to achieve maximum client satisfaction, sales and profitability.
The hourly range for this role is minimum wage up to $36.00.
This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives. Pay will be based on experience level.
Responsibilities

Develop and successfully execute a personal sales plan to retain current and obtain new commercial tire account business

Develop and implement client business plans to aid the Store in exceeding its annual sales goals
-
Facilitate clear and open communications between clients and Store operations on requests, concerns, safety awareness, order/service fulfillment, etc.

Manage and execute client account analysis, prepare, and present client proposals/quotes, provide additional reporting requirements, or respond to special client projects
-
Perform fleet inspections at client sites and make recommendations for services to meet client needs and objectives

Track and document regular updates on daily work and client activity in Telenotes according to Monro’s policy and procedures
-
Keep current with industry changes in products and services and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Monro’s offerings and client base
-
Responsible for fully understanding competitive developments, and effectively convey Monro’s value proposition vs. competitors to current and potential clients
-
Responsible for working with Collections Admin to ensure assigned customers are paying in a timely manner and any disputes are quickly and satisfactorily resolved

Responsible for meeting or exceeding required sales growth and profit margin within designated sales territory

Performs other duties as assigned
Management Responsibility
The Commercial Outside Sales Representative is an individual contributor to the team and operates under the general direction of the Commercial Store Manager
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 3 years business to business sales experience, or a minimum of 3 years Retail Tire Store customer service experience; commercial tire industry sales experience preferred

Job Description
Responsibilities include achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the Theisen’s Brand, products and/or related services. The sales representative is responsible for contacting and securing new business accounts and customers, both for business-to-business relations and brick and mortar locations. This position requires travel (some weekends) within territory, and to shows and other events.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

3 years of outside sales experience

An equivalent of combined experience and education will be considered

Valid driver’s License with a clean driving record

Key Responsibilities

Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective and current customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business

Drive revenue through outside sales by demonstrating products and services to existing and potential customers and assisting them in selecting those best suited for their needs

Travel to and participate in trade shows, conventions, and company related vendor training programs

Work Environment and Working Conditions
While in the office, this position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility. The noise level is low to medium and typical of an office environment. While in the store, work will normally be performed inside of the store facility; however, some work may occasionally be performed outside in conditions ranging from cold below 32 degrees to heat above 100 degrees. The work environment is usually fast paced with regular deadlines and sales expectations. Extreme noise and vibrations may occasionally be experienced. Associates may be subjected to hazards such as burns, cuts, electrical, explosive, and mechanical. Due to the nature of the work, associates may be exposed atmospheric conditions such as dust fumes, odors, and poor ventilation. For the safety of our associates, all associates may be required to wear protective devices from time to time, depending on the job/task being performed.
