Responsibilities- Strategic partner to President of AbbVie Oncology and responsible for internal communications that drive business impact with measurable execution.
- Lead strategy and execution for above-brand business unit internal meetings and associated communications activities including All-Staff Meetings, Regional Directors District Managers (RDDM), National Meeting, and cross-functional Leadership Forums.
- Lead for business unit FFIA Council in fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture that inspires employee engagement, innovation, and productivity. Drive the councils execution of cultural programming and rituals such as Local Link-up, Women in Oncology, etc.
- Drive cross-functional messaging alignment on key announcements such as scientific milestones, and business integrations in coordination with Public Affairs to align messages for internal and external audiences, respectively.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including Business Unit Vice Presidents, chief of staff, and FFIA colleagues, to manage internal calendar and drive results through project management, strategic planning, and communications support.
- Present communication strategy through written and verbal presentations to leadership.
- Coach senior leaders in storytelling on multiple topics inclusive of strategic priorities, issues management, areas of science and innovation, as well as transformation and change.
- Establish and lead governance of BU-wide strategic planning processes, involving collecting the latest guidance from Enterprise and Brand Excellence and adapting it for the BU.
- Champion strategic planning and change management for future oncology integrations, co-promotions, and/or pipeline evaluations for potential new franchises.
- People Leader for team of Project Managers who coordinate above-brand program and project planning and execution and communications manager.
- Establish standardized processes and methodologies to execute projects efficiently and effectively with cross-functional involvement, fostering portfolio mindset and achieving operational efficiencies and project outcomes.
- Ensure BU above-brand projects align with the strategic objectives and priorities of the oncology division, supporting the overall goals of AbbVie.
- Establish processes and capabilities for the BU to forecast project demand and drive prioritization across BU Leaders for focused utilization of our limited resources.
- Minimum of 10+ years of strategic communication experience, particularly in high-pressure, agile, and matrixed environments.
- 5+ years of executive communications experience.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and excellent execution abilities to deliver engaging communications (All-Staff Meetings, executive messages). Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and under tight deadlines.

What you will do
The Manager , Media Planning will suppo rt global communications & media planning strategy in collaboration with key global brand teams . As the Manager , Planning you will support the annual and campaign planning cycles of our global brand teams, provide strategic guidance and inputs in an E2E comms planning process, and to ensure successful handoff from global comms strategy to local execution and activation. There will be a heavy focus to support the Director, Media Planning with the Skin Health comms planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the strategic development of global E2E comms planning process at Kenvue and execution through key global brands , in collaboration with local market requirements and agency processes
- Support local media planning efforts through successful briefing from global comms plan and requirements/expectations of local counterparts for activation
- Act as support for Skin Health comms and media planning, in collaboration with Director, Media Planning and the Neutrogena, Aveeno, and OGX global brand teams
- Integrate central planning standards (sufficiency, alignment of business + comms objectives , downstream media requirements and best practices) into global brand team planning
- Support the full Global Media Planning team with central requirements and efforts required to scale best practices across local media teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (internal, external agency roster) to integrate media planning efforts with overall marketing strategies
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative media solutions
- Analyze campaign performance data and support insights feedback loop to optimize comms & media strategies and drive continuous improvement
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in communications or connections planning
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media (either specialist/COE, or within brand planning, or at agency/media vendor)
- Minimum of 3 years of media planning experience (strategy, tools, metrics, outcomes)
- Proven track record of successfully executing media campaigns across various channels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data , make data-driven decisions , and build insights loop to support planning
