Cybersecurity Engagement, Reporting, and Communication Support Services
The Office of Information Security (OIS) ensures the OCISO delivers quality cybersecurity services supported through stakeholder engagement, reporting, and documentation including presentation preparation. OIS leverages and keeps stakeholders engaged through communications such as departmental meetings and responses to data calls, institutional and program meetings, internal all hand interfaces, conferences, events, speaking engagements, interviews, boards, panels, reviews, reports, responses, briefings, and various ad-hoc activity requiring OCISO responses or presentations.
Responsibilities
+ Deliver services and support to the OCISO Communications and Engagement mission ensuring all OIS identified communications, reports, initiatives, released documentation, presentation resources, and related messaging are accurately and consistently developed, reviewed, conveyed, tracked, and stored to and for appropriate stakeholders - both internal and external to HHS.
+ Interface and track engagements with multiple stakeholders. These stakeholders include internal teams (functions, branches, divisions, and offices within the OCISO along with broader OpDivs and StaffDivs. Additionally, the Contractor may also support federal engagements with public and private HPH sector entities, other federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies and cybersecurity working groups and task groups.
+ Provide engagement and communication subject matter knowledge, technical and communication production support. The Contractor shall additionally support output to OCISO communications and engagements such as departmental meetings and responses to data calls, institutional and program meetings, internal all-hands interfaces, conferences, events, speaking engagements, interviews, boards, panels, reviews, reports, responses, briefings, working groups, and various ad-hoc activity requiring OCISO responses or presentations.

- Monitor and process pending Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS) schedule status.

- Respond to Appointment Notification emails accordingly.

- Assist with sending manual CAPS.

- Communicate with other internal Departments when needed.

- Printing and mailing hard copy CAPS to veterans via FedEx.

- In accordance with SCA contract requirements, remote work must be conducted from the location specified at the time of hire. Travel is not permitted, and you are required to remain at your designated home location for all work activities.

- Please note upon hire, Veteran Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus Co. will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfil the duties of your role. New hires will not be exempt from using company provided equipment.

Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialists to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist is responsible for handling incoming scheduling communications and dispersing provider and facility information to team members. Additionally, they help with specialized administrative functions to supplement the regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and the Team Lead.

Due to contract requirements, only US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with calling veterans for required information in order to schedule appointments.

- Assist with rescheduling calls.

- Answer and redirect calls made to the Scheduling Hunt Group.
