Requirements: The Company Trainer is responsible for training Managers in running a profitable shifts while maintaining superb levels of standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The Company Trainer works with Managers in Training to complete entry level training requirements. The Company Trainer conducts 2 daily Shift Evaluations to coach, train and mentor Shift Managers into performing their best. The Company Trainer conducts Shift Management Excellence Classes 2 hours a week with Managers-in-Training. The Company Trainer follows up with Managers-in-Training to ensure all training tasks are completed. The Company Trainer reviews Manager training progress and provides weekly updates to company leaders. Works with his/her leader to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals. Ideal candidates should have previous McDonald's Manager experience. Must be computer savvy, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to work some evenings evaluating and coaching Shift Managers. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants. Principal Accountabilities
- Develop a training system with a career perspective blending formal classroom, on-the-job, computer based, and offsite learning to include Skills Training, Professional Technical Development & Industry Certifications, and Leadership Development.
- Drive training lifecycle improvements and best practices.
- Brainstorms with and builds partnerships with organizations to understand their short- and long-term business and manufacturing learning objectives in becoming a World Class Training organization.
- Coordinates the learning and development strategies and resources to sustain the achievement of those objectives and needs.
- Partner with Production Technology, Quality & SMEs in understanding training requirements and how to deliver the training.
- Ensure that the curriculum consistently reflects state of the art practice, is packaged in an effective manner, and apply learnings on-the-job and is connected to the broader department goals and company initiatives
- Analyze curriculum effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement methods
- Streamline processes and influence team behaviors that support effective and efficient decisions on learning solutions.
- Identifies, tracks, and reports appropriate metrics on quality and effectiveness of learning solutions.
- Assist in establishing training schedules.
- Boost training guides for a variety of manufacturing processes.
- Help create corporate training campaigns with instructor-led content in learning management systems (LMS). This may include designing, creating, delivering, and reporting on training courses and programs to track employee progress.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident per ITAR (i.e., 'Green Card') (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
- Significant aerospace and/or manufacturing experience is a must.
- 3+ years of experience within an aviation manufacturing environment or an aviation/automobile training school.
- Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
- Posses expert knowledge of subject matter.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise people leaders.
- Strategic thinker with strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- This position is 100% onsite.
